This systematic literature review describes the experiences of the nurse preceptor in the preceptorship program in health care services. Data was collected from three databases: EBSCO, ScienceDirect, and Scopus. Qualitative, peer-reviewed, original studies published in English from 2013 until 2017 and exploring preceptor experiences of the preceptorship program were involved. The manuscripts were selected by screening titles, abstracts and full papers and the quality of the studies was measured. Data were analysed using content analysis.Ten studies were chosen for the review. Nurse preceptor experiences were divided into four main categories: experiences related to the preparation; experiences related to the preceptee; experiences preceptor role during the program; and experiences related to work environment. The findings establish that the nurse preceptor has a great impact to determine the quality of nursing services to the new graduate nurses, but many challenges face during the program.
Preceptor memiliki peranan penting dalam menjamin kualitas pelayanan yang diberikan oleh perawat baru.yang sedang dalam masa transisi. Komitmen seorang preceptor sangat penting dalam optimalisasi program preceptorship. Tujuan penulisan adalah untuk melakukan identifikasi pelaksanaan preceptorship, pemberian pelatihan, dan evaluasi komitmen preceptor di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Militer di Jakarta. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah pendekatan pilot studi yang dilaksanakan dari identifikasi, analisis situasi, penetapan masalah, pembuatan perencanaan tindakan, implementasi, evaluasi dan analisis kesenjangan menggunakan literatur review. Analisis situasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis diagram fish bone. Sampel yang digunakan dalam pengkajian awal adalah 10 ruang rawat inap yang meliputi 10 kepala ruangan, 19 preceptor, dan 36 preceptee. Pada saat implementasi melibatkan 25 perawat untuk dipersiapkan menjadi preceptor dengan melibatkan dalam workshop preceptorship. Hasil identifikasi menunjukkan adanya masalah dalam pelaksanaan program preceptorship terutama pada fungsi manajemen dalam implementasi program preceptorship di ruang rawat inap. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa 100% preceptor memiliki komitmen tinggi dalam menjalankan perannya setelah mengikuti pelatihan preceptorship. Rekomendasi dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk terus mempertahankan komitmen preceptor dan mengoptimalkan preceptorship hendaknya manajemen rumah sakit memberikan dukungan berupa kebijakan, alur pengembangan program, dan monitoring dan evaluasi pelaksanaan program di ruang rawat inap.
BACKGROUND The concept of virtual care has not been consistently defined for its use in healthcare. Overall, the definition of virtual care available is in the form of the use of communication technology with the aim of providing health services. Several studies state that the term virtual care is used synonymous with the concepts of telemedicine, telehealth, telenursing, telerehabilitation, telemonitoring so that it should strengthen the concept so that there is no error in the use of variables. OBJECTIVE This study clarifies the concept of virtual care METHODS Walker and Avant's concept analysis methods were used in this study. Literature searches were also conducted from four databases: PubMed, CINAHL, and Scopus, and Google Scholar, to find articles until July 2022 RESULTS The literature search obtained 14 articles on virtual treatment from different disciplines. Four attributes were developed from the concept analysis, including 1) remote healthcare delivery, interaction between patients and health workers, 2) communication between patients and health workers, 3) communication using audio, visual, and short message-based technology, Asynchronous, 4) aiming to improve access, effectiveness, and efficiency of services. Two types of antecedents were identified in the concept of virtual care related to virtual care needs involving factors such as use cases, payment barriers, regulatory changes, and technology, as well as antecedents from virtual care, namely conventional face-to-face consultations and considering physical or geographical constraints. Additionally, it was found to be in the form of increased service effectiveness, service efficiency, and cost reduction. CONCLUSIONS Concept analysis provides four comprehensive attributes, antecedents and consequence.
