Abstract. We present a progress report on the development of information system of lunar crescent astronomical observations which will be largely accessible for public domain. This consists of calculations of the Moon's ephemeris as well as systematic real-time lunar crescent observations. A well suited small telescope, equipped with a simple digital detector, is connected to a server to provide information on lunar crescent observations. The system has been used and worked well. The only constraint is poor weather condition. Network of small telescopes, installed at various locations in Indonesia, are currently planned to provide plethora of data. In the long term, this will be used to help to determine the astronomical visibility criteria of lunar crescent for Islamic calendar.
Unsur manusia dalam organisasi selalu berkaitan dengan perilaku dan karakteristik individu yang mempengaruhi hasil kerja dan pencapaian tujuan organisasi. Peranan motivasi, religiusitas, kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja perlu dicermati untuk mengetahui dukungannya terhadap pencapaian tujuan organisasi melalui pencapaian kinerja pegawai. Studi ini untuk mengamati peran motivasi kerja, religiusitas, kepemimpinan dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja pegawai. Survei ini menggunakan teknik sampling sensus. Jumlah responden sebanyak 128 responden. Untuk memperoleh hasil dari data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis dengan teknik regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa motivasi kerja dan religiusitas berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Temuan lain menyebut ada peran dari kepemimpinan dan variabel lingkungan kerja membentuk kinerja karyawan
We present the result of visual double stars speckle observation in 2012, using 24 inch (60 cm) refractor at the Bosscha Observatory. The objects selected for this observation are calibration candidates, their separations range from 1-7 arc second, and they are located in both northern and southern hemisphere. Seeing effect due to the Earth atmospheric turbulence limits the resolution of ground-based telescopes. Seeing over Bosscha Observatory is generally 1-2 arc second, imposing a limit on visual double star separation below which the system cannot be resolved by long exposure imaging (longer than ∼ 50 ms). Speckle interferometry method is used to resolve double stars with separation below typical size of seeing effect. Series of images are captured in fast short-time exposures (∼ 50 ms) using CCD camera. The result of our first experiment shows that our system can be used to measure separation of 1.8 arc second, with ∆m ≃ 1.Keywords: visual double star, atmospheric turbulence, seeing effect, speckle interferometry, southern hemisphere PACS: 95.75. Industri manufaktur khususnya industri otomotif di Indonesia sangat berkembang begitu pesat. Kebijakan suatu perusahaan untuk memenangkan persaingan bisinis sangat dibutuhkannya suatu keefektifan dan effisienan dalam pengelolaan perusahaan. Kebijakan yang di ambil pada PT.XYZ salah satunya adalah meningkatkan kapasitas produksi. Kebijakan ini dilakukan dengan adanya penambahan mesin maupun meningkatan output pada mesin-mesin yang sudah ada. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengukur kinerja mesin pada PT.XYZ salah satunya adalah Overall Equipment Effetiveness (OEE) yang dasari dari Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Dari hasil perhitungan diperoleh presentase nilai Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) pada bulan Agustus 2019 yaitu sebesar 70%. Nilai yang diperoleh belum mencukupi standar nilai yang sudah ditetapkan pada hasil nilai OEE yang nilainya sebesar 85%. Bila dilihat pada Diagram Pareto untuk faktor Reduce Speed Loss memiliki total time loss terbanyak dan frekuensi kumulatif terendah dari Six Big Losses yang sangat mempengaruhi hasil nilai OEE yang sudah didapat. PT.XYZ harus memberikan pelatihan kepada operator terhadap maintanence mesin tersebut sehingga performance mesin press dapat meningkat, melalukan inpeksi terhadap die dan membuat penjadwalan terkait dalam pemeriksaan die secara rutin, Membuat tim Inspektor khusus agar dapat melakukan inspeksi secara rutin, dan melalukan penyetokan terhadap suku cadang yang krusial
A A A subject classification: 103After recovery of the comet by Green (1995), the ephemeris of the comet have been published by Green (1995). Guided by the ephemeris we observed the comet using the Bosscha Schmidt-type telescope (The 1961).Nine visual plates (Kodak 103a-D with a Y50 filter) were obtained between August 15 to August 22, 1995. Four plates were exposed for 5 min, three plates for 7 min, one plate for 6 min, and one plate for 10 min, during which time the telescope was guided.The positions of the comet, which was located near the centers of the plates, were measured with respect to 9 selected S.A.O. stars. The magnitudes of these stars are more or less equal to the comet's magnitudes. Six SAO stars were chosen as control stars. With these control stars, together with the 9 standard stars, the errors of the measurements were evaluated. These stars are distributed uniformly around the comet. Accordingly, field corrections were not applied. All the measurements were carried out using the Leitz measuring machine of the Bosscha Observatory. The accuracy of the X-Y measurements of the stars are within 1 micrometer, which corresponds to about 01'15. Since the comet appears roundish, with a rather strong central condensation, the accuracy of the comet's position should be of the same order of magnitude as the standard stars.The data processing, using the standard procedure (see Ratag and Hidayat 1985) was done on a standard software program. Residuals of the positions of the reference stars and the control stars were used to derive the standard deviations of the positional data. They are (averaged from 9 plates) 05051 in right ascension and 01/48 in declination. Compared with Marsden's data (1995), the positions cited above differ by no more than 062 in right ascension and approximately 1" in declination. Table 1 gives the positions of the comet at mid-exposure times, which are accurate to the nearest second of time. The magnitude estimates of the comet, compared with stars in its surrounding, showed that it is about grn in the visual bandpass. Acknowledgement.
