La disgrafía constituye un trastorno en el cual no se puede realizar la escritura de forma correcta, el mismo se asocia frecuentemente a otros elementos como son la presencia de dificultades en el cálculo o la lectura. Elobjetivo de este estudio fue identificar la presencia de disgrafia y sus causas en estudiantes de tercer año de educación general básica de la UE Pedro Vicente Maldonado. Para estose realizó una investigación básica, descriptiva y con enfoque mixto que incluyó 90 estudiantes. Se aplicó una encuesta para conocer las características generales de los estudiantes y las posibles causas que inciden en la aparición de la disgrafia. Para identificar la presencia de disgrafía se utilizó el test de TALES. El coeficiente de correlación de Pearson fue utilizado para identificar relación entre variables. Los principales resultados muestran promedio de edad de 7,24, predominio de estudiantes masculinos (61.11%) y de procedencia urbana (74,44%). La disgrafía se presentó en el 22,22% de los estudiantes; sus principales causas estuvieron relacionadas con poca atención y acompañamiento por parte de los padres o tutores legales hacia los niños(as). Se concluye que se identificó una correlación negativa considerable entre el acompañamiento de los padres y la presencia de disgrafia
La neuroeducación es la disciplina que estudia el funcionamiento del cerebro durante el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje hasta su transformación en conocimientos; muchos docentes capacitados en neuroeducación bajo la pandemia de COVID-19, que ha provocado cambios en el paradigma educativo, han adaptado sus técnicas y estrategias educativas a esta nueva realidad; en este trabajo de tipo descriptivo, se seleccionó la Unidad Educativa “Ángel Polibio Chávez" de Guaranda, Provincia Bolívar en Ecuador, para evaluar como los conocimientos de los docentes en neuroeducación inciden en el manejo de las emociones de los estudiantes que reciben clases virtuales, con la aplicación de encuestas a una muestra de estudiantes, docentes y padres de familia; Los encuestados manifiestan que la virtualidad ha sido un proceso difícil al que cada día han ido asumiendo y adaptándose; El conocimiento de los docentes en neuroeducación y en las emociones dentro del aprendizaje, es una estrategia didáctica que permite enfocarse y estimular el desarrollo de las habilidades cognitivas de los estudiantes para que los contenidos impartidos sean recibidos de manera significativa, dinámica y reflexiva. La mayoría de los estudiantes se han adaptado a las clases virtuales, principalmente por la incidencia positiva de los recursos didácticos utilizados por los docentes. Los padres de familia apoyan el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, acompañando y colaborando con los estudiantes durante las clases y la realización de los deberes. El manejo de las emociones constituye un pilar fundamental para desarrollar competencias relacionadas con el pensamiento, favoreciendo las actitudes positivas dentro del proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje.
El derecho a la salud, entendida como un estado de bienestar y no simplemente como la ausencia de enfermedad, se ha venido generalizando, desde las orientaciones generales de las organizaciones internacionales, como en las políticas y legislaciones específicas de cada país. En Ecuador, la misma Constitución Nacional garantiza este derecho para toda la población, incluida la de los pueblos indígenas. En el presente texto, se plantea una revisión crítica de la situación en uno de los aspectos de la salud mental de la población: el de los niños, niñas y adolescentes pertenecientes a los pueblos indígenas. Para ello, se revisarán documentos oficiales de organizaciones nacionales e internacionales, datos censales, así como investigaciones académicas y publicaciones científicas relativas al tema.
