The purpose of this research is to describe a mathematical problem-solving approach to the matrix material. This type of research is qualitative research using library research methods. Data collection techniques by identifying from books, articles, journals, papers, and various information related to mathematical problem-solving approaches to the matrix material. The results showed: (1) the students' way of understanding the problem of types of matrices, calculation operations on matrices, determinants, and inverses; (2) the way students make plans for solving problems with the types of matrices, calculation operations on matrices, determinants, and inverses; (3) the way students carry out the problem-solving plan types of matrices, count operations on the matrix, determinants, and inverses; and (4) how to recheck the results from solving the matrix types, count operations on the matrix, determinants, and inverse.
Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui keterampilan mengajar calon guru pendidikan matematika pada mata kuliah micro teaching. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 10 mahasiswa angkatan 2012 Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar rubrik penilaian keterampilan mengajar calon guru dan rubrik penilaian RPP. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Calon guru pendidikan matematika memiliki keterampilan membuka pelajaran dengan sangat baik, tetapi indikator menarik perhatian belum dicapai secara optimal. (2) Calon guru pendidikan matematika memiliki keterampilan menjelaskan dengan sangat baik, tetapi indikator menarik penggunaan metode dan penguasaan kompetensi belum dicapai secara optimal. (3) Calon guru pendidikan matematika memiliki keterampilan bertanya pelajaran dengan sangat baik. Semua indikator keterampilan bertanya sudah dicapai, namun kurang optimal pada indikator penyebaran. (4) Calon guru pendidikan matematika memiliki keterampilan memberi penguatan dengan sangat baik, tetapi kurang optimal pada indikator variasi dalam penggunaan. (5) Calon guru pendidikan matematika memiliki keterampilan mengadakan variasi dengan sangat baik., tetapi indikator variasi dalam cara mengajar dan variasi alat atau bahan yang dapat didengar belum tercapai secara optimal. (6) Calon guru pendidikan matematika memiliki keterampilan menutup pelajaran dengan sangat baik, tetapi belum tercapai secara optimal pada indikator mengevaluasi. (7) Calon guru pendidikan matematika membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) dengan sangat baik, tetapi belum tercapai secara optimal pada indikator metode pembelajaran dan langkah-langkah pembelajaran.
The application of ethnomathematics-based cultural education that is integrated into learning can be through the development of learning instruments. Learning instruments consist of syllabus, learning material, student worksheets, learning resources, learning media, and evaluation tools. This studies discusses about worksheets, lesson plans, and syllabus in which ethnomatematics and character education have been included with purpose was to explain the development of syllabus, learning material, and mathematics student worksheets based on ethnomatematics in strengthening student character education.
<p>The purpose of this research is to develope mathematical learning instrument based on ethnomatematics in strengthening students’ character education. The learning instruments consist of syllabus, lesson plan, and student worksheet. This research is a development study. This research was conducted in grade 8 of junior high school in Indonesia. This research was implemented in three stages, namely: define, design, and develop. The define phase includes the analysis of syllabus, syllabus, lesson plan, and student worksheet; the design stage includes the preparation of learning instruments draft and research instruments; the development stage includes the test of learning instruments, evaluation and perfection of learning instruments. The validation results of expert validators were as follows: syllabus device with a value of 4.62 with a very valid category, student worksheet instruments with a value of 4.59 with a very valid category, while the materials learning device with a value of 3.55 with a very valid category.</p>
