Customer relationship management (CRM) plays a crucial role in any organization because success or failure depends on a company’s relationship with its customers. The objective of this study is to see how CRM can play an important role in the public and private sector banks in Bihar, India. The sample for the study consists of 250 bank managers from both public and private sector banks in Bihar. A CRM questionnaire developed by the researchers was used to measure CRM in the banking sector. Data were analyzed using SPSS software. Inferential statistics including t-test and analysis of variance (ANOVA) were used to analyze the data. The t-test results show that both the public and private sector banks differ significantly in the variables of customer contact by phone/e-mail, customer care, and innovation and quality. The ANOVA results showed that the four groups (public sector males, public sector females, private sector males, and private sector females) differed significantly in the eight variables (commitment; citizenship behavior; customer contact by phone/e-mail; planning; improved retention & better targeting of new customers; top management support; innovation and quality; and technological readiness.
Purpose: The purpose of this article is to increase theoretical knowledge regarding psychosocial antecedents of entrepreneurial intention by explaining the interrelation between personality characteristics and social capital in the formation of entrepreneurial intention. Theoretical framework: The study is a combination of two theories. The first one is the personality approach(trait approach) of entrepreneurship(Chye Koh, 1996) and the second one is the social capital approach of entrepreneurship (Nahapiet & Ghoshal, 1998) . Design/methodology/approach: The study is based on secondary data collected by a review of the literature from journals in the disciplines of entrepreneurship, business and management, psychology, and sociology. Findings: This article establishes the interrelationships between three major entrepreneurial personalities (Need for Achievement, Locus of control, and Innovativeness) and social capital in forming entrepreneurial intentions by presenting five major propositions which led to building a conceptual framework. Research, Practical & Social implications: The theoretical implication of this study is that the conceptual framework presented in this article may be used to guide empirical investigations on entrepreneurial intention in the future. Originality/value: This study theoretically demonstrates how personality characteristics and social capital interactively form entrepreneurial intention through a conceptual framework.

Entrepreneurship is seen as a crucial component of any nation's economic progress. The most significant predictor of entrepreneurship is thought to be the entrepreneurial intention. Therefore, it is crucial to understand the variables that shape entrepreneurial intent. The purpose of this study is to investigate how social capital and innovativeness, two significant predictors of entrepreneurial intention, interact to determine the entrepreneurial intention of polytechnic students from the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. A questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale was completed by 261 polytechnic students (214 male,47 female) from six polytechnic (5 Govt,1 Private) colleges across Arunachal Pradesh. The structure model was examined using structural equation modelling (SEM) analysis in SPSS AMOS (Analysis of Moment Structure), and bootstrap confidence intervals were computed to test the mediating role. The findings showed that both social capital and innovativeness have a significant positive impact on entrepreneurial intention, and innovativeness partially mediates the association between social capital and entrepreneurial intention. Our study's findings have significant ramifications for vocational educators because they show that emphasizing the importance of social capital and innovativeness might increase polytechnic students' likelihood to become entrepreneurs.
