La responsabilidad social empresarial (RSE) demanda la consolidación de la ideología institucional donde primen valores éticos y responsables en todos sus enfoques, lo cual pocos establecimientos de alimentación y alojamiento mantienen; es por ello, que la investigación determinó las necesidades vinculadas con la gestión de la RSE; para ello, se utilizó el diseño de la investigación cuali-cuantitativa con métodos descriptivo, de campo y documental de corte trasversal, cuya población fueron 31 empresas de alimentación y 44 de alojamiento ubicadas en el caso urbano de la ciudad de Guaranda. Con base en los resultados, se diseñó el modelo de gestión de RSE conforme a cuatro componentes principales: identidad, enfoque, operación y monitoreo, mismos que se vinculan a un sistema de valor y política interna conforme a ámbitos de calidad y sostenibilidad, que marca la actuación de los clientes internos y externos de manera articulada.
Se determina la influencia existente entre el patrimonio cultural inmaterial en sus distintas facetas y el desarrollo turístico en el cantón Colta, en la provincia de Chimborazo. Para el efecto se utiliza un método correlacional de corte transversal. La recolección de datos se hizo a través de la aplicación de encuestas tanto para turistas como a funcionarios de instituciones públicas involucradas en el ámbito del patrimonio. El estudio determinó que tanto la oferta, gestión y conservación del patrimonio cultural inmaterial influyen significativamente en el desarrollo turístico del cantón Colta. Con base en estos resultados, surge como propuesta la creación de paquetes turísticos enfocados a los usos sociales, rituales y actos festivos del patrimonio, cuya finalidad permite aprovechar la movilidad turística para compartir los saberes ancestrales del sector.
