Revue des sciences de l 'éducation, vol. Forty-two lessons were coded using the system "analysis of active practice time" introduced by Siedentop (ALT-PE). The results showed that the time-table allocated an average of 47,8 minutes for physical education. Of this, slightly more than 30 minutes were devoted to physical education situations and, of this portion of time, it was shown that slightly less than 12 minutes were used for pertinent motor activities involving the students.
