Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı covid-19 pandemisi sürecinde bireylerin özyeterliliğinin, gelişmeleri kaçırma korkusu üzerindeki etkisinin incelenmesidir. Yöntem: İlişkisel bir niteliği olan bu çalışmanın örneklemini, ülke genelindeki 18 yaş üstü olan 660 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma internet aracılığı ile paylaşılan anket formları ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Anket içerisinde bireylerin kişisel özelliklerini belirlemek amacıyla araştırmacıların geliştirmiş olduğu Kişisel bilgi formu ile Sherer vd. (1982) tarafından geliştirilen ve Yıldırım ve İlhan (2010) tarafından Türkçe'ye uyarlanan "Özyeterlilik Ölçeği" ile Przyblski vd. (2013) tarafından geliştirilen ve Gökler ve arkadaşları (2016) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan "Gelişmeleri Kaçırma Korkusu Ölçeği" kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmada özyeterlilik cinsiyete göre farklılaşmamaktadır. Ayrıca özyeterlilik eğitim düzeyine göre de farklılaşmamaktadır. Gelişmeleri kaçırma korkusu ise cinsiyete göre farklılaşmazken eğitim durumuna göre farklılaşmaktadır. Ayrıca bireylerin özyeterliliğinin artmasının gelişmeleri kaçırma korkusu yaşamalarını azaltacak yönde etki edeceği ifade edilebilmektedir. Tartışma: Araştırma sonucunda, özyeterliliğin gelişmeleri kaçırma korkusunu etkilediği bulunmuştur. Bu çalışmada Covid-19 ile ilgili bilgi edinilen kaynaklardan en çok güvenilen kaynağın Sağlık Bakanlığı olduğu belirtilmiştir.
Bu çalışma, hekim ve hemşirelerin hasta güvenliği kültürü algılarının ortaya konulması amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Benzer çalışmaların daha çok hemşirelere uygulandığı görülmüş, bu çalışmanın hekimlerin de algısını ölçmesi planlanmıştır. Aydın’ın (2010:87-89) kullandığı ve orijinali Sexton ve Thomas’ın (2004) “Patient Safety Climate Questionnaire” olan anket formundan yararlanılmıştır. Ankara’da yer alan bir özel hastanede çalışan hekim ve hemşireler araştırmanın evrenini oluşturmaktadır. 2019 yılında Ankara’da yer alan bu özel hastanedeki toplam personel sayısı 223 iken; hastanede çalışan hekim ve hemşire sayısı toplam 121’dir. Örneklem hekim ve hemşireler arasından basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda, Ankara’da bir özel hastanede çalışan toplam 99 hekim ve hemşireye anket uygulanmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde t-testi ve anova testi değerlerine yer verilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, medeni durum, meslek ve mevcut birimdeki çalışma süresi değişkenlerine göre katılımcıların hasta güvenliği kültürü algılarında anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Hekimlerin hasta güvenliği kültürüne yönelik algılamalarının hemşirelere oranla daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiş, mevcut birimdeki çalışma süresine göre hasta güvenliği kültürüne yönelik algılamaların karşılaştırılmasında analizler sonucunda anlamlı bir farklılık olduğu belirlenmiştir.
The research has also been carried out in order to research the expectations of individuals and health professionals separately in relation to the service to be provided by city hospitals, examine the differences of knowledge, thought and opinion between these two groups, and analyze in a detailed manner the attitudes of individuals before the city hospital of Ankara province starts to provide services. The research which is conducted by the researchers using the questionnaires developed by obtaining the expert opinion, it was determined that health professionals have more negative opinions compared to citizens regarding city hospitals, in particular the physicians think that the negative effects of the practice of city hospitals are more compared to other health professionals, and health professionals with high level of education agreed with the negative opinions on the practice of city hospitals.
Human milk is an important source of food for a new born baby to grow up in a healthy manner. World Health Organisation points to the importance of feeding on human milk and ranks it as the first source of nutrition. This paper aims to analyse the views of Turkish and Saudi Arabian citizens’ views on human milk banking comparatively. The research sample was composed of 184 individuals who lived in Turkey and 385 individuals who lived in Riyadh- the capital of Saudi Arabia. The participants were given the survey form on human milk banking. Mann Whitney U test was used in comparing the differences of independent groups for two-class data whereas Kruskal Wallis H test was used for multi-class data and Hochberg GT2 test was used in finding which groups had the source of difference. It was concluded that there were no differences between Turks’ and Arabs’ views on human milk banking and that they both had negative attitudes towards milk brotherhood.
Nowadays, it is seen that patients are becoming more conscious and care more about their relationships with healthcare professionals. In addition to the health services they provide, it is important for the quality of health care that healthcare professionals are compassionate in their attitudes and behaviors towards patients. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of compassion satisfaction and compassion fatigue on trait anger level in healthcare workers. The population of the research consists of health workers in Turkey, and the sample consists of 386 health workers, who are reached by convenience sampling method. Study data were obtained through online questionnaires. As a result of the research, an inverse and weak relationship between compassion satisfaction and compassion fatigue; It was also determined that there's an inverse but moderate relationship between compassion satisfaction and trait anger.
