The aim of this research is to determine the special education teachers’ views of preparation and implementation of parenting education programs in schools for the visually impaired, counseling and research centers, special classes, special education and rehabilitation centers where they work. The data of the research were obtained through semi-structured interviews. The data obtained through interviews were analyzed by content analysis. The research results indicated that parenting education programs in the institutions mentioned above are not implemented either at the desired level or in accordance with the scientific literature. The study also concluded that most of the teachers do not plan and implement parenting the education program, and practices considered parenting education do not overlap with the literature. Besides these, the special education teachers have difficulties and facilities in the process of preparing and implementing parenting education programs, also they have suggestions and expectations about the process.
