Therapeutic communication is an interpersonal relationship between health workers and clients in this relationship both of whom gain shared experiences in order to improve the emotional experience of clients. So the essence of therapeutic communication is a relationship that is carried out for therapeutic purposes. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental/quasi-experimental approach with a research design using pre-test and post-test. Determination of the number of samples using purposive sampling method and obtained a sample of 30 workers. Data was collected by interview using questionnaires and observation sheets. The independent variable in this study is Therapeutic Communication, while the dependent variable is compliance with the use of Anxiety Levels. Anxiety Level Compliance Assessment is in the good category (82.3%). Statistical test using T-Test with = 0.05. The results of the analysis show that there is an influence of therapeutic communication on the level of anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester at the Maternity Clinic Hj. Rismala in 2021, with a p value (0.001 0.05). The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of therapeutic communication on the level of anxiety in third trimester pregnant women.
Perineal laceration is trauma to the perineum due to tearing of the birth canal or due to an episiotomy at the time of expulsion of the fetus from the uterus. One of the causes of infection and bleeding is perineal laceration. Old perineal laceration wound healing can increase the risk of infection so it is necessary to fulfill nutritional intake, especially protein which will help the growth of new cells in the perineal laceration wound so that the perineal laceration healing process can be accelerated. This study aims to determine whether the administration of boiled egg white has an effect on the healing of perineal lacerations in postpartum mothers at the Pratama Nining Pelawati Clinic. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental design with One Group Pretest and Posttest design. The population and sample in this study were all postpartum mothers on the first day at the Pratama Nining Pelawati Clinic, totaling 20 people with a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a check list sheet. The results showed that the majority of respondents who consumed boiled egg whites had fast perineal lacerations healing as many as 17 people (85%). Based on the results of data analysis with the independent Sample T-Test test, the p value = 0.000 (p <0.05) which means that there is an effect of boiled egg white on the healing of perineal lacerations in postpartum mothers. The results of this study indicate that there is a match between theory and facts in the field where the fulfillment of nutritional intake in postpartum mothers, especially foods rich in protein will help accelerate the healing of perineal lacerations. Protein from eggs is useful as a building block to replace damaged cells and help the formation of new tissue in accelerating the healing process of perineal laceration.
Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) is one indicator to see the health status of women. One of the risk factors for the high maternal mortality rate in childbirth is anemia in pregnancy. Anemia in pregnant women is the main cause of bleeding which is a major factor in maternal death in Indonesia. Prevention of anemia can be done by meeting the nutritional needs during pregnancy. The government has carried out an anemia prevention program for pregnant women, namely by giving 90 blood-supplementation tablets (TTD) to pregnant women during the pregnancy period with the aim of reducing the anemia rate of pregnant women. Compliance of pregnant women in consuming iron tablets in Indonesia is still low. Factors that influence the compliance of pregnant women in consuming iron tablets need to be known to increase the coverage of Fe tablet consumption. This type of research was a descriptive study with cross sectional design and using univariate and bivariate data analysis techniques with the chi-square test. The population wereall pregnant women in the working area of Kenangan Health Center, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. Sampling using purposive sampling technique with a significant level of 95% (p≤0.05). The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between knowledge, motivation, family support and the role of health workers with the compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets (p value 0.000, 0.004; 0.000; 0.000). Based on the results of the study, it is expected that pregnant women can seek information and increase motivation to consume Fe tablets, families are expected to provide support to mothers, and health workers can provide information and provide counseling to mothers.
Preeclampsia were still a threatening problem in pregnancy, especially in developing countries. In Indonesia, preeclampsia were a high cause of maternal mortality in addition to bleeding and infection. Preeclampsia could cause problems for both the fetus and the mother. The conditions of preeclampsia and eclampsia would adversely affect the health of the fetus due to decreased uteroplacental perfusion, hypovolemia, vasospasm, and damage to endothelial cells of the placental vessels. The exact cause of preeclampsia were not known. There are various risk factors, including parity factors and a history of hypertension. This type of research was a descriptive study with a case control design and using univariate and bivariate data analysis techniques with chi-square test where the population were inpartu mothers in the VK Room of Medika Stannia Hospital, Bangka Regency. Sampling using accidental sampling technique with a significant level of 95% (p 0.05). The results of this study indicate that there was a relationship between parity (p value 0.009) and history of hypertension (p value 0.023) to the incidence of severe preeclampsia. Based on the results of the study, it is hoped that the hospital will be able to control the risk of severe preeclampsia in the mother during pregnancy, especially mothers with primigravida parity and have a history of hypertension.
Anemia in adolescents is one of the nutritional problems in the world. One of the efforts to prevent anemia early is to provide anemia education to improve knowledge and attitude of young women about anemia. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of using video through the android application as an education media for anemia on increasing knowledge and attitudes about anemia in adolescent girls. This method of research type was quasi experiment with control group desigh pre test−post test. The research population and sample in this study were 80 and XI female teenagers in SMA 6 Yogyakarta as many as 80 people selected using proportional stratified random sampling technique. The data collection instruments used questionnaire. The data analysis used paired samples t-test and independent samples t-test. There are differences in the increase in knowledge and attitudes that are meaningful before and after anemia education is given using video through the android application and using lectures. The difference in the increase in knowledge in the video usage group through the android application is 26.88 and in the lecture group by 16.38. Difference in the increase in attitudes in the group of video use through android applications amounted to 21.96 and in the lecture group amounted to 19.06 with p = 0.001 (<0.05). There is an influence of the use of video through an android application to increase knowledge and attitudes about anemia in adolescent girls.
