Se analiza la problemática de la asistencia a clases de los estudiantes de nivel medio superior, temática que cobra centralidad en tiempos de obligatoriedad de la Educación Media Superior (en México, desde 2012), dada su influencia en la configuración de procesos particulares de aprobación, reprobación y recuperación. Los resultados derivan de una investigación etnográfica sobre la acreditación de asignaturas en la vida cotidiana escolar realizada entre 2014 y 2016 en un Colegio de Bachilleres de la Ciudad de México. Entre los aportes del enfoque etnográfico destaca la posibilidad de recuperar relacionalmente la diversidad de voces y los procesos de negociación y resignificación de distintos criterios que configuran la acreditación de asignaturas a nivel de la cotidianidad escolar. La acreditación escolar está atravesada por un mandato en las políticas educativas actuales de mejorar los índices en relación con el acceso, la permanencia y la aprobación de los jóvenes en las instituciones del nivel medio superior, el cual es resignificado y tensionado en las prácticas y sentidos que construyen los sujetos en la vida cotidiana escolar. Los resultados no pretenden ser generalizables cuantitativamente, pero pueden ser retomados para generar propuestas que recuperen las expectativas, prácticas y sentidos de sus protagonistas.
En este artículo nos proponemos analizar, desde un enfoque socioantropológico, una dimensión que identificamos como central en la formulación de las políticas de “inclusión socioeducativa”: la necesidad de “flexibilizar” distintos aspectos organizativos de la escuela secundaria para lograr la “inclusión socioeducativa” de los jóvenes. Específicamente nos enfocamos en el Plan “Vuelvo a estudiar”, una política destinada a generar la reinserción educativa de jóvenes en la provincia de Santa Fe. Abordaremos así la dimensión vinculada a los procesos de definición de esta política mediante el análisis de documentación oficial y entrevistas a referentes de las áreas que participan en su planificación.

ResumenLa obligatoriedad de la educación media superior es un proceso que viene desarrollán-dose con diferentes características en algunos países de América Latina. En México, el Honorable Congreso de la Unión modificó los artículos 3º y 31º de la Constitución Política de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos para extender la obligatoriedad a la educación media superior a partir de 2012. Si bien se registra un crecimiento de la matrícula en este nivel educativo, muchos jóvenes se encuentran fuera de la escuela o interrumpen sus estudios. Con la finalidad de describir algunas características que asume este proceso en México, presento reflexiones surgidas de una investigación recientemente concluida en diálogo con la bibliografía actual sobre la temática. Se trata de un estudio que analiza, desde un enfoque etnográfico, la acreditación de asignaturas en la vida cotidiana escolar en el Colegio de Bachilleres en la Ciudad de México. Sostenemos que la acreditación escolar se encuentra atravesada por un mandato presente en las políticas educativas actuales de mejorar los índices en relación al acceso, permanencia y aprobación de los jóvenes en las instituciones de nivel medio superior.
