Meta-sentez, nitel araştırmalardan elde edilen bulguların sistematik olarak gözden geçirilmesi, bütünleştirilmesi ve yorumlanması olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Ulusal ve uluslararası literatürde meta-sentez yöntemi kullanılarak gerçekleştirilen birçok araştırma bulunmakla birlikte, ulusal literatürde meta-sentezin kapsamını ve sürecini açıklayan sistematik bir çalışmaya ihtiyaç olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Özellikle bütünsel olarak bir araya getirilen meta-senteze ait bilginin örneklerle de desteklenmesi uygulayıcılar için gerekli olduğu düşünülmüştür. Bu çalışma ile nitel araştırmalarda meta-sentezin tanımı, kapsamı ve sürecinin açıklanması ile birlikte, yaşlılık alanında yapılmış meta-sentez örneklerine yer vererek, bu alanda rehber niteliğinde bilgi bütününü ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır.

Aim: To investigate the validity and reliability of the Basic Depression Scale for Turkey. It was designed and carried out in the form of cross-sectional research methodologically. Material and Methods: Data analysis for structure validity; Cronbach alpha (α) coefficient used in reliability analysis. Factor analysis applied for validity analysis. Results: Basic Depression Scale found to have sufficient distribution based on the explanatory factor analysis of the Kaiser Meyer Olkin test. Croncbachs alpha (α) found 0.7. Basic Depression Scale is a reliable measurement tool for Turkey. It concluded that Basic Depression Scale was a valid and reliable scale for young people who receive a university education in Turkey. Conclusion: The scale is a four-point Likerttype. Max 84, min 21 points can be given. It can be said that the higher the total score, the higher the level of depression based on total scores. There are anhedonia, low self-esteem, and sadness sub-scales. In the end, we suggest that scale should be tested on different groups with different variables under prospect researches in the field.

People form a whole by interacting with the environment in which they live. With this interaction, the use of natural resources takes place. This study was carried out in a methodological manner in order to develop a measurement tool that will raise awareness for the reduction of damage by focusing on the concept of environmental responsibility with increasing ecological problems. The research was applied to 203 people and a pilot study was conducted. Validity and reliability analyzes were made with the results obtained from this questionnaire. After this, the study was completed by applying the scale, whose validity and reliability was finally provided to 260 individuals. The questionnaires were applied between 16 and January 27, 2021, with the approval. In the study, after the factors were determined by explanatory factor analysis as a result of the pilot study applied to 203 people, they were tested with confirmatory factor analysis to test the suitability of the factor structures. The model obtained according to the fit index values was found to fit well. According to the findings obtained from the study, it was determined that the scale is a measurement tool with high validity and reliability. It is recommended to be used in determining ecological footprint awareness.

This study aimed to explain youth definition and characteristics of youth, and also evaluate the importance of the youth political participation. Part of the this aim first of all youth definition is given, after that factors and constraints are evaluated on the participation of youth. And also youth needs and importance of media are focused. All this together with the dynamics associated with young people's participation in voting, volunteering, youth programs and organizations are evaluated.
