The quality of human resources is related to the quality of children, where the quality of children today has an impact on the quality of human resources in the future. The number of sufferers of malnutrition and malnutrition is around 28% of the total children under five in Indonesia. About 10% of children under five who suffer from malnutrition and lack of nutrition end up dying. The under-five mortality rate is 37 per 1,000, half of which is due to malnutrition. This study was conducted to determine the relationship between nutritional status and motoric development in children aged 6-24 months. This study used an analytic observational design with a cross sectional approach. The subjects of this research were all mothers and toddlers who came to the low stinger Integrated health-service post (POSYANDU) in the work area of the Aur Duri’s public health center (PUSKESMAS), namely 30. The measuring instruments used were the dacin weight balance, microtoise and KPSP scales. Bivariate analysis using chi-square. The results of the study which is mostly under five year old children in aged 13-24 months and male gender is 36.7%. The most nutritional status (BW / U) in children aged 6-24 months is Good Nutrition with the male gender, namely 53.4%. The development of children aged 6-24 months at most was normal, with 8 male respondents (26.7%). The conclusion yields there is no significant relationship between the levels of nutritional status of children under five years old with the development of children. It is expected that parents will increase stimulations. Health workers and cadres should be included in training so that they can measure progress with the KPSP
Zink and copper are the micronutrients which play a role in the growth and development of fetal and infant. Its deficiency in pregnant women shall give a birth the restriction fetal growth 16,11. This research is proposed to distinguish zinc and copper levels in normal neonates and those restriction fetal growth. The research was conducted with a comparative cross sectional analysis, experienced by three hospitals those are TK III Reksodiwirjo Hospital, Dr. Rasidin Hospital, and Bayangkara Hospital in the city of Padang. It also conducted in the SMAK Padang Chemistry Laboratory in November 2016 - January 2018. The research sample was taken from newborn blood centers for 60 respondents by consecutive sampling. Zinc and copper levels were examined by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry (AAS). Hypothesis testing was done by unpaired t testing. The results showed the average zinc level in restriction fetal growth group was 89.34 ± 31.53 µg / dL and normal neonates were 122.703 ± 39.3 µg / dL with p = 0.01. The mean copper content in the restriction fetal growth group was 0.5142 ± 0.15 µg / dL and the normal neonate was 0.6892 ± 0.17 µg / dL with p <0.01The conclusion of this research is zinc and copper levels in normal neonates were significantly higher than neonatal zinc and copper levels restriction fetal growth.
Anemia is a condition in which the number and size of red blood cells or hemoglobin levels are below the threshold value for women less than 12.0 g. Anemia can be caused by a lack of iron intake, poor lifestyle such as smoking, drinking alcohol and breakfast habits, signs of anemia symptoms, headache, fatigue, frequent drowsiness, weakness and decreased concentration so that anemia does not occur, it is necessary to do prevention activities such as eating nutritious food, the purpose of this community service activity is to provide health education to young women at SMAIT Al-Azhar Jambi City so that young people know and understand about prevention of anemia, one of which is by consuming dragon fruit and honey, this activity is carried out on August 23, 2022 took place at the Al-Azhar mosque, Jambi City, which was attended by 75 young women, using lecture, discussion and question and answer methods, the media used were in the form of leaflets, infocus and laptops and power points, meeting time+ 90 minutes. At the implementation stage, before and after giving the material, an evaluation of the knowledge of young women throughpretest with the results of 33.33% good knowledge of young women and 66.66% knowledgeable enough, then inposttestit was found that the results of knowledge of young women increased to 100% good knowledge.HAs a result of this activity, young women understand and understand the prevention of anemia by consuming dragon fruit and honey.
Toddler health efforts are activities / work programs in the health sector that concern health services and maintenance for toddlers, namely children aged 12 months to 59 months with the aim of preparing a healthy, intelligent and quality generation while aiming to reduce infant mortality. Based on Lancet data (2012), 44.7% of infant deaths were caused by low birth weight (LBW), failure to breastfeed, Stunting (short), underweight, and lack of vit A and Zink minerals. The MSG program is an effort to prevent the occurrence of stunting by combining several health education methods in one package consisting of conventional health education, distributing leaflets and PMTS as well as training mothers to detect early toddlers at home. This effort is carried out at the basic service level, namely the puskesmas and its working area. The implementation method is divided into 3 stages: the preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation stages. Conclusion: all toddlers are in the category of good nutrition, Mothers of toddlers finally know the importance of measuring the growth and development of toddlers, toddlers mothers know the importance of preventing stunting in infancy
Maternal and infant mortality is very influential on the integrity and resilience of family and society, the quality of human resources, which in turn will hinder efforts to achieve national development goals. The causal factors that cause indirect or direct causes are because most pregnant women do not understand the physiological changes that occur during pregnancy so that the mother cannot adapt to physiological changes during pregnancy. The physiology of pregnancy and childbirth in general is the same, but because certain things related to the process of forming a fetus in the womb until the birth of a baby varies, the physiology of the baby's birth becomes different from one another. One of them is circulation function in pregnancy. Blood circulation from the mother for fetus will increase according to gestational age and according to the increase in weight and size of the fetus. The aim of this community service program is that expectant mothers can understand the basic needs during pregnancy both for the needs of the mother and the fetus. One effort that can be done so that the mother can understand the basic needs during pregnancy, both the needs for the mother and the basic needs for the fetus, namely by giving counseling explanations about what needs are needed by the mother and fetus.
