<span>O presente artigo relata um dos métodos de aprendizagem e avaliação utilizados pelos acadêmicos e bolsistas do Instituto Federal Farroupilha Campus Alegrete, através dos trabalhos realizados em 2019 dentro do Programa Institucional de Bolsas de Iniciação à Docência (PIBID). Nesta atividade foi desenvolvida a temática Agrotóxicos, na qual foi aplicada ao final de uma oficina semanal com o objetivo de retomar o assunto abordado. A metodologia aplicada foi desenvolvida através de jogos com o uso de tecnologias feitas no software PowerPoint. Chamado de “Quiz Agrotóxicos”, o jogo abordou questões de conhecimento geral sobre o tema discutido. O objetivo desse trabalho foi relatar a importância e a eficiência da utilização da tecnologia como um recurso pedagógico. Foi observado que o uso dessa metodologia estimulou o diálogo, a criatividade e a fixação dos conteúdos.</span>

O gênero Butia, nativo da América do Sul, abrange 21 espécies, 20 com ocorrência no Brasil. As espécies desse gênero são bastante polimórficas e apresentam formas intermediárias, o que dificulta a compreensão da delimitação taxonômica. Além disso, há uma carência em estudo que auxilie no entendimento dos padrões em relação à variabilidade genética. A utilização de caracteres morfológicos é parâmetro importante em estudos taxonômicos e de diversidade genética, contribuindo em estratégias de conservação e melhoramento genético. O objetivo deste trabalho foi determinar e correlacionar características morfométricas das espécies Butia exilata Deble & Marchiori e Butia lallemantti Deble & Marchiori. Foram analisados 12 caracteres morfológicos em 44 matrizes provenientes de quatro populações. A análise estatística com determinação dos valores de média, variância e correlação linear de Pearson foi realizada com o auxílio do software Genes. Os maiores e os menores valores de média e de variância da massa do fruto, diâmetro longitudinal do fruto, diâmetro equatorial do fruto e massa do mesocarpo foram encontrados respectivamente na população de Sarandi (1) e na população de Alegrete (4). O maior número de correlações altas foi encontrado na população (1), seguida respectivamente da população de Manoel Viana (3), São Francisco de Assis (2) e Alegrete (4). A massa do fruto, o diâmetro equatorial do fruto e a massa do mesocarpo se correlacionaram altamente nas quatro populações analisadas.
A família Arecaceae, reconhecida mundialmente pela sua importância econômica e ambiental, está em franco declínio populacional devido, principalmente, a ação antropogênica. Este trabalho consiste em uma revisão ampla das publicações científicas sobre a Família e, mais especificamente, dos gêneros Butia (Becc.) Becc. e Syagrus Mart. Aqui reunimos, organizamos e compilamos características botânicas e aspectos biogeográficos dos gêneros mencionados, com o objetivo de fundamentar trabalhos de pesquisa sobre alternativas viáveis à conservação dessas palmeiras e o atendimento das demandas de mercado por mudas dessas espécies tropicais. Uma alternativa proposta é o desenvolvimento de metodologias de hibridização entre esses dois gêneros, a fim de se obter respostas desejáveis para a finalidade comercial e, ao mesmo tempo, implementar planos de preservação para as populações de palmeiras nativas. Os dados levantados foram obtidos a partir de literatura científica em sites e revistas, no período de junho de 2019 a março de 2021. As buscas envolveram obras de 1970 a 2021. Nesta pesquisa exploratória, é primordial enfatizar a importância da interpretação e das opiniões dos pesquisadores, de forma que seja possível integrá-los às obras, proporcionando uma fundamentação teórica que dê sustentação a uma discussão a respeito do tema proposto.
A busca por fármacos à base de fitoterápicos tem aumentado significativamente nos últimos anos, sobretudo devido ao grande potencial da natureza como promotora de moléculas com atividades múltiplas. Entre as famílias vegetais, destacamos Verbenaceae, a qual apresenta uma série de relatos correlacionando estas propriedades aos seus gêneros. Dentre estes, Lippia e Aloysia possuem valor significativo, já que são citados na literatura frequentemente devido às atividades biológicas que lhe são atribuídas, especialmente por suas capacidades de produzir óleos essenciais, tornando-se especialmente promissores para novas pesquisas que busquem solucionar doenças, a partir da exploração dos recursos naturais como fonte destas biomoléculas. Por isso, a necessidade de aprofundar os conhecimentos sobre estes dois gêneros e, assim, ter subsídios que possibilitem testar novas aplicações a estes no tratamento de problemas de saúde humana e animal.
