El objetivo principal de esta investigación es analizar la incidencia de los estilos de crianza en la presencia de ciberbullying en estudiantes de secundaria. La muestra estuvo compuesta por 281 estudiantes de secundaria (de sexto a undécimo grado) de un colegio público de la ciudad de Bucaramanga, en un rango de edad de 11 a 17 años. El diseño de investigación es transversal de tipo descriptivo correlacional, en donde se utilizaron los siguientes instrumentos: el Cuestionario de Ciberbullying de Garaigordobil & Fernández-Tomé y la Escala de estilos de crianza (Parenting Style Index) de Steinberg. Dentro de los resultados, se halló una relación significativa entre ser cibervíctima y el estilo de crianza autoritario, así mismo, entre ser ciberagresor y dos estilos de crianza: democrático y negligente; y, por último, entre ser observador y el estilo de crianza democrático. Por ello, se puede concluir que existe una relación entre la prevalencia de ciberbullying y los estilos de crianza, es decir, que esta variable sí incide en la presencia del ciberbullying.
