Abstract:The integration of Islamic and science was done through integration-interconnected, referring to ontological, epistemological dan axiological perspectives. This paper will focus on the integration of Islam and science from axiological perspective. In the view of axiology, science is seen as neutral and value-free; the value of science is given by its users. This condition motivates Muslim scholars to reintegrate science and religion. The first attempt made is my giving ideas on the Islamization of science. The attempt to Islamize the science in the Islamic world is dilemmatic, whether to wrap western science with the label of Islam or Islamic, or transforming religious norms based the Qur'an and the Hadith to fit empirical data. Both strategies are difficult if the effort is not based on the critic of epistemology.
The Indonesian government is trying to implement a learning process based on information and communication technology. However, there are still weaknesses in the use of the internet in the learning process among students. Therefore, this article aims to describe the activities of students during the implementation of hybrid learning in mathematics learning and find out the results of student learning in mathematics through the application of Hybrid Learning. The research method used in this article is a true experimental design with a research sample of SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru students, whose schools have easy internet access. To obtain primary data from the field, tests are used to measure student mathematics learning outcomes. After each data is collected and tabulated, the data will be analyzed using statistical parametric analysis with the t test using the help of SPSS Version 18.00. The results showed that there were differences in student learning outcomes between those studying with the Hybrid Cooperative Learning method and students learning with conventional methods in SMA Negeri 1 Pekanbaru. The difference is confirmed again by the mean value of the experimental class 34.55 while the mean control class is 31.35. The results of this calculation indicate that the ability of the experimental class students is better than the control class students. This means that the value of the experimental class is better.
This paper examines the validation instrument used to measure the psychometric status of the self-employment intentions. Selfemployment intentions are crucial to identify the university students in order to confirm their decision making. They are a questionnaire to measure graduation in university to start choice on their careers. This instrument is composed of 11 items and was carried out to 115 international students studying in one Indonesian higher education. There were 49 male and 66 female respondents involved in this study. The Cronbach's Alpha value was .94 which strongly suggest that the instrument has an excellent reliability. This study points out that self-employment intentions are suitable to be used by college personnel and counselors to examine and identify self-employment intentions among international students in Indonesian higher education. Implications for future study will also be discussed.
The development of science and technology needs to be accompanied by an increase in the quality of human resources, including through education. Education is closely related to the learning process so that one way to improve the quality of human resources is by choosing a learning model that involves technology during the learning process. One learning model that uses technology during the learning process is the Moodle-based Hybrid Learning model. The use of the Moodle-based Hybrid Learning model can help students understand the subject matter. Cognitive aspects are one important component that must be owned by students but these aspects are still relatively low. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to: 1) describe student activities during the implementation of the Moodle-based Hybrid Learning model in mathematics learning; and 2) determine the effect of Moodle-based Hybrid Learning models on student mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is a quantitative research with experimental methods in the form of pure experimental types carried out at SMAN Negeri 1 Tembilahan Hulu with a sample size of 33 experimental classes and 33 control classes. The data collection method used in this study is a test technique. Based on the results of the analysis it can be concluded: 1) the implementation of the Moodle-based Hybrid Learning model is classified as good as seen from the mean values of the experimental class 19.97 while the mean control class is 17.52; and 2) there is an influence of Moodle-based Hybrid Learning models on student mathematics learning outcomes.
This research is motivated by humans who are equipped with the nature of God which can be filled with various skills and skills, according to their position as noble creatures and the best creation (ahsani taqwim). This study aims to find out how the development of potential, Sense, reason, and heart according to the Qur'an and its application in learning. This research is a library research using thematic interpretation method, which is collecting reading that talks about the five senses of man, then determines the topic and conducts an analysis using tahlili interpretation analysis, which then draws conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis that the author did, it can be concluded that; Senses potential in the Qur'an is to hear (al-sam '), sight (al-bashr), touch, and sense of taste (aldhuq); The potential for reason in the Qur'an is in form, understanding (faqiha), knowing ('alima), remembering (dzakara), paying attention to (tadabbara) Ulu al-Abab, and thinking (tafakkur). While the potential of qalb in the Qur'an are, shadr, fu'ād, qalb and lubb. Any development is carried out using the method, Tafakkur, Tadabbur, customs, drill, exemplary, experimental and problem solving.
