Penelitian ini bertujuan memberikan informasi mengenai evaluasi pengelolaan lembaga PAUD di Taman Kanak-Kanak dan Raudatul Athfal di Kabupaten Serang dengan menggunakan model evaluasi CIPP (context, input, process, product). Penelitian ini berfokus kepada komponen konteks yaitu kurikulum; komponen input yaitu struktur organisasi, peserta didik, pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan; komponen proses yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran, sarana dan prasarana, dan pembiayaan; dan komponen produk yaitu pengawasan dan tindak lanjut. Menggunakan desain penelitian kualitatif. Setelah data kualitatif didapat untuk melihat kepastian proses evaluasi, maka data kualitatif diolah atau dianalisis ke dalam kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah TKS Al-Hidayah dan RA Darur Rohmat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan perlu meningkatkan kompetensi yang dimiliki serta kepedulian dari pengawas atau pembina lembaga dan instansi terkait dalam mengawasi dan membina lembaga untuk peningkatan mutu pendidikan
This reasearch was done in the form of research and development. The reason underlied the selection of the reasearch method was because the purpose of the reseacrh was to develop a valid and realiable instrument which can be used to measure the multiple-intellegences of the 4-5 years old childen. The multiple-intelligences measured were consisted of eigth dimensions, there were: verbal/linguistic intelligence, logical mathematical intelligence, visual spatial intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, bodily/kinesthetic intellgence, music/rythmic intelligence and naturalist intelligence. Based on the need in researching and developing, therefore, the study was conducted in two faces, as folowed : (1) the first face was literature research aiming to analyzed and synthesis concepts, principles, and theories. The result of the literature study was used formulte the construct of multiple intelligences, especially for the 4-5 years old children; (2) the second face was to define and to develop the valid and reliable multiple intelligences instrument for the 4-5 years old children. Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode research and Development. Alasan pemilihan metode tersebut karena tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan validitas dan reliabilitas suatu instrumen yang bisa digunakan untuk mengukur kecerdasan majemuk anak usia 4-5 tahun. Kecerdasan majemuk dikur dengan delapan dimensi, yaitu: kecerdasan bahasa/verbal, kecerdasan logika matematika, kecerdasan visual, kecerdasan intrapersonal, kecerdasan interpersonal, kecerdasan gerak/kinestetik, kecerdasan musik, dan kecerdasan natural. Berdasarkan penelitian dan pengembangan, oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap, yaitu: (1) tahap pertama adalah penelitian literatur yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mensintesis konsep, prinsip, dan teori. Hasil dari penelitian literatur digunakannnya rumus untuk mengkonstruksi kecerdasan majemuk. Khususnya anak usia 4-5 tahum, (2) tahap kedua yaitu mendefinisikan dan mengembangkan validitas dan reliabiltas instrumen kecerdasan majemuk untuk anak usia 4-5 tahun. This study aims to determine the procedure and to assess the quality of the development of test instruments in measuring the learning disabilities of elementary school students. Learning disabilities are formulated as disorders that occur in learning activities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia. The type of the research is research and development by using Martini Jamaris’s Model. The subjects were 90 students of elementary school in Jakarta. The number of items was 75 items consisting of 19 items (dyslexia), 29 items (dysgraphia), and 27 items (dyscalculia). The results obtained in the validity test were declared valid were only 54 of the 75 items. Reliability of the test was stated to be reliable with very high interpretation in all dimensions. The results of the analysis of learning disabilities using a learning disabilities test that have been developed were obtained 90% of students experience learning disabilities.
The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in sex behavior through sex education in children aged 6 - 7 years based on demonstration method. The research was conducted at Santa Theresia Depok Elementary School. Implementation of this research starts from November to December 2017 with 25 students as research subjects and two observers. The method used in this research is action research with reference to the action research model of Kemmis and Taggart, where the activity of one cycle consists of 4 components, including planning, action, observation, and reflection. This study consists of 1 cycle consisting of 8 actions. Data analysis is conducted by using action research. Qualitative data were obtained through observations during the implementation of action interventions through field notes, whereas the quantitative data were obtained by comparing the average score of the initial assessment result (before the action was given) and the final assessment (after the action was given).The results showed an increase in the formation of sex behavior through sex education in children aged 6 - 7 years based on demonstration method in which the average score of 65.8% increased to 89.1%. It means that there has been a significant increase from pre to post research. Implications that can be made to this demonstration method approach to be successful are: a) the teacher boldly explains, b) the teacher uses several examples, c) it uses simple, interesting, and real media for students.
This research aims to find out the effectiveness of cognitive strategy instruction for improving intellectual abilities of undergraduate students with cognitive expressing difficulties, especially in actualizing their thinking abilities starting from lower order thinking up to higher order thinking. Therefore, the cognitive strategy instructional design based on Bloom's Taxonomy is constructed in order to accomplish the research objectives. This research uses mixed method approach entailing the implementation of two research methods. The first is qualitative method which aims to get information of the cognitive strategy in instructional process. The second is quantitative method which is used to measure the students' improvement in cognitive abilities or actual intellectual abilities after participating in cognitive strategies instruction. Research implementation is divided into three stages. The first stage is needs assessment, in which the students' thinking / cognitive skill abilities are observed and measured in order to have evidence whether or not they have cognitive expression difficulties. The second stage is to use the needs assessment results in designing cognitive strategy instruction. The third stage is the implementation of the instructional design. There are 20 undergraduate students taking part in this research who are selected by purposive sampling technique. The results revealed that cognitive strategy instruction effectively improves the actual intellectual abilities of students with cognitive expression difficulties. Qualitatively, the students feel very satisfied with their actual intellectual abilities.
