U kurikulumu za stjecanje kvalifikacije medicinska sestra opće njege/medicinski tehničar opće njege nema sadržaja o ergonomiji ili kinestetici. S obzirom na visoku stopu medicinskih sestara koje pate od bolova u leđima ili drugih lokomotornih oštećenja, ti su sadržaji neophodni tijekom obrazovanja, ali i tijekom rada. Vrijednost tih sadržaja je dvojaka: smanjenje opterećena i sprječavanje povreda medicinskih sestara te unaprjeđenje zdravstvene njege bolesnika. U potrazi za novim znanjima, nastavnice Škole za medicinske sestre Vinogradska sudjelovale su u mobilnosti u sklopu Erasmus + projekta Nauči, razmijeni, podijeli. Tijekom toga projekta provedena je edukacija nastavnica u Universitäts- und Rehabilitationskliniken Ulm od 28. studenoga do 4. prosinca 2021. godine o primjeni kinestetike i bazalne stimulacije u radu s bolesnicima. U ovom radu prikazane su usvojene spoznaje o kinestetskim principima premještanja bolesnika.
Razvoj tehnoloških, društvenih i medicinskih znanosti utjecali su na produženje životnog i radnog vijeka ljudi, što dovodi do sve veće potrebe za zdravstvenom skrbi i rehabilitacijom. Cilj rehabilitacije je maksimalno osposobiti osobu za samostalan i kvalitetan život sukladno njenim potrebama i mogućnostima. U rehabilitaciji se koriste razni terapijski programi zasnovani na kineziterapiji. Suvremeni pristup zahtijeva multidisciplinaran pristup i timski rad u kojem sudjeluju fizijatar, liječnik, medicinska sestra, fizioterapeut, radni terapeut, logoped i psiholog. Medicinska sestra aktivno sudjeluje u postizanju rehabilitacijskog cilja s naglaskom na motivaciju i postizanje samostalnosti, uvažavajući potrebe, mogućnosti i ciljeve bolesnika. Primjer dobre prakse u rehabilitaciji bolesnika je Sveučilišna i rehabilitacijska klinika u Ulmu, Njemačka. Fokusirana je na ortopediju i neurologiju te povezuje akutnu skrb i kasniju medicinsku i profesionalnu rehabilitaciju svojih bolesnika koristeći se različitim metodama rehabilitacije. U ovom radu bit će prikazana Bobath terapija i bazalna stimulacija kao dio terapijskog i edukacijskog koncepta s kojim smo se upoznali tijekom Erasmus + projekta „Learn, Exchange and Share“ 2021. godine u Sveučilišnoj i rehabilitacijskoj klinici u Ulmu (Universitäts-und Rehabilitationskliniken Ulm).
Bazalna stimulacija je edukacijsko-terapijski i sestrinski koncept njege namijenjen bolesnicima svih dobnih skupina koji imaju narušen tjelesni i kognitivni integritet. Koncept bazalne stimulacije razvio je prof. dr. med. Andreas Fröhlich sredinom 1970-ih godina. Obuhvaća velik broj tehnika za taktilnu, somatsku, vibracijsku, vestibularnu, gustatornu, olfaktornu, auditivnu i vizualnu stimulaciju. U svom radu slijedi holistički pristup kroz koji se izgrađuju emocije poput povjerenja i samosvijesti, a istodobno se smanjuju strah i napetost. Cjelokupan koncept bazalne stimulacije temelji se na saznanjima iz područja obrazovanja, fiziologije, anatomije, neurologije, razvojne psihologije i sestrinstva. Njegovo osnovno načelo je posredovanje osjeta pomoću tijela osobe i stimulacija njegove percepcije, što mu omogućuje bolju komunikaciju s okolinom. Osnovni elementi uključuju kretanje, komunikaciju i percepciju te integraciju svih tih elemenata. Važno je naglasiti da Koncept bazalne stimulacije poštuje individualnu osobnost svakog korisnika u najvećoj mogućoj mjeri. Uvažavajući holistički pristup, medicinske sestre se u procesu zdravstvene njege osoba s invaliditetom mogu koristiti različitim oblicima podražaja i uspostaviti posebne oblike komunikacije, što će biti opisano u ovom radu.
