Hypertension is a disease that is known as the silent killer disease or quietly because in general people do not know he suffered from hypertension before they check their blood pressure. The purpose of this study was to look at factors related to adherence to taking anti-hypertension medication. Using descriptive analytic design through Cross Sectional approach. The data were collected by interview using questionnaire. Population in this research in Peukan Bada Public Health Center are 56 people. This study used Chi-Square statistic test. The result of the research showed that hypertension patient mostly good (55,4%), hypertension motivation mostly high (64,3%) and hypertension family support mostly good (60,7%). The result of the statistical test shows that there is correlation between knowledge (p value = 0,001), motivation (p value = 0,002) with adherence to taking anti hypertension medication in hypertension patient and no relation with family support (p value = 0,728) with adherence to taking anti hypertensive drugs in hypertensive patients. Abstrak-Pemanfaatan sampah organik rumah tangga tiap tahun meningkat karena berbagai permasalahan yang akan timbul seperti polusi udara, dapat menimbulkan dampak penyakit dan bahaya banjir. Sampah yang dapat dimanfaatkan adalah sampah organik berupa sisa sayuran, sisa buah-buahan, sisa daun kering, dan ranting pohon. Sampah organik rumah tangga ini paling banyak digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari karena kebutuhan akan makanan sehingga kuantitasnya semakin banyak dihasilkan dan akan menumpuk karena tanah tidak mampu mendegradasi dalam jumLah yang banyak, sehingga dapat merusak lingkungan berupa polusi udara (bau) dan serta dapat menyebabkan dampak penyakit. Seiring dengan dampak yang ditimbulkan maka sampah organik harus diolah dalam lingkungan rumah tangga terlebih dahulu dengan mengubahnya dalam bentuk yang lebih bermanfaat seperti pupuk cair organik. Pupuk cair lebih mudah diserap oleh tumbuhan dan dalam bentuk konsetrat sehingga lebih ekonomis karena dapat diencerkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan memanfaatkan sampah organik rumah tangga menjadi pupuk cair dan melihat pengaruh dari bioaktivator EM4 dan Promi terhadap pembuatan pupuk cair dari kandungan C organik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa bahan baku sampah sayuran berupa kangkung, sawi, bayam dan wortel serta daun kering sebanyak 300 g dibersihkan dan dipotong kecil-kecil kemudian dimasukkan di dalam komposter sebelum di fermentasi di basahkan atau dilembabkan dengan bioaktivator terlebih dahulu kemudian difermentasi selama 7 hari. Proses fermentasi dilakukan dengan variasi bioaktivator 2,5 mL, 5 mL, 7,5 mL, 10mL, dan 12,5 mL. Pupuk cair organik yang dihasilkan dengan menggunakan EM4 dan Promi dapat digunakan sebagai bioaktivator dalam penggunaan pupuk akan tetapi bioaktivator EM4 memberikan kerja yang lebih efektif dalam mengdegradasi sampah organik sehingga menghasilkan kadar C organik sekitar 23% dibanding bioaktivator Promi sekitar 18% dan begitu juga kandungan senyawa lain untuk EM4 seperti kadar nitrogen 3,8%, kadar P2O5 3,0% kadar K2O 4,2% sedangkan Promi kadar Nitrogen 3,2%, kadar P2O5 2,5% dan K2O 3,0%. Dari hasil analisa terlihat bahwa bioaktivator EM 4 menghasilkan pupuk cair dengan C organik yang tinggi di bandingkan dengan Promi. Standar pupuk cair disesuaikan dengan Permentan No 11/2011, tetapi kedua bioaktivator ini bisa digunakan untuk pembuatan pupuk cair organik. Waste that can be used are organic waste such as leftover vegetables, fruits, leftover dried leaves and twigs. Household organic waste is the most widely used in daily life because of the need for food so that the quantity is more and more produced and will accumulate because the ground is not capable of degrading in significant amounts, so as to damage the environment in the form of air pollution (odor) and can cause impact disease.Along with the impact of the organic waste to be treated in a household environment prior to turning it into more useful forms such as liquid organic fertilizer. Liquid fertilizers are more easily absorbed by plants and in the form konsetrat so it is more economical because it can be diluted. This research aims to use household organic waste into liquid fertilizer and see the impact of bio-activator EM4 and Promi to manufacture liquid fertilizer from organic C content. The method used in the form of waste materials vegetables such as kale, mustard greens, spinach and carrots as well as dried leaves 300 g cleaned and cut into small pieces and then put in the composter before fermentation in lightly mist or moistened with a bio-activator before hand and then fermented for 7 days , The fermentation process is done with a variety of bio-activator 2.5 mL, 5 mL, 7.5 mL, 10 mL, and 12.5 mL. Organic liquid fertilizer produced by using EM4 and Promi can be used as a bio-activator in fertilizer use but bio-activator EM4 provide more effective work in mengdegradasi organic waste to produce high levels of organic C approximately 23% compared to bio-activator Compromise approximately 18% and so is the content of other compounds EM4 such as nitrogen for 3.8%, 3.0% P2O5 content of K2O content of 4.2% and 3.2% Compromise Nitrogen levels, levels of 2.5% P2O5 and 3.0% K2O. From the analysis shows that the bio-activator EM 4 produces organic liquid fertilizer with a high C in comparison with the Compromise. Standard liquid fertilizer tailored to Permentan No.11/2011, but both bio-activator can be used to manufacture organic liquid fertilizer. Keywords: Organic Waste ,, EM4, Compromise, Fermentation
Background: Patient with diabetes mellitus (DM) occurs chronic inflammation by characterized a decreased concentration of various cytokinin types. This causes changes in the body’s immunity so that can be easier in having an infection. One of the most important cytokines against infection is IFN-γ. This study aimed to determine IFN-γ concentration in DM and dyslipidemia patients. Metode: An amount of 234 people who received treatment at the health center in Banda Aceh in 2019 were included in this study. From each respondent, 5 ml of blood was taken to check fasting blood glucose, triglycerides, high-density lipoproteins (HDL), and interferon-gamma (IFN-γ). Test of fasting blood glucose, triglycerides, HDL was carried out using the colorimetric enzymatic method. The IFN-γ protein concentration was examined using the sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) technique. Result: IFN-γ concentration in the non-DM group was higher than in the DM group. There was a significant difference between the average IFN-γ concentration in the non-DM group compared with the DM group (p = 0.000). All DM patients had increased fasting blood glucose, most had hypertriglycerides, but HDL levels were normal. The fasting blood glucose group <126 mg / dl had a higher IFN-γ concentration than the group with fasting blood glucose levels ≥126 mg / dl. There was a significant difference in the concentration of IFN-γ between the two groups (p = 0.000). The group with triglyceride levels <150 mg / dl had lower IFN-γ levels than the group with triglyceride levels ≥ 150 mg / dl. There was a significant difference between the average IFN-γ concentration between those groups (p = 0.000). The fasting blood glucose levels ≥126 mg / dl and triglycerides levels ≥ 150 mg / dl had higher IFN-γ concentration than the group who had fasting blood glucose levels ≥126 mg / dl and triglycerides levels < 150 mg / dl. Conclusion: There are differences in IFN-γ concentrations in people with DM, increased fasting blood glucose and dyslipidemia compared to normal people. Hal ini yang menyebabkan perubahan imunitas tubuh sehingga mudah mengalami infeksi. Salah satu sitokin yang paling berperan terhadap infeksi adalah interferon gamma (IFN-γ). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memeriksa konsentrasi IFN-γ pada penderita DM dan dislipidemia. Metode: Sebanyak 234 orang yang melakukan pengobatan di puskesmas di Kota Banda Aceh pada tahun 2019 diikutsertakan dalam penelitian ini. Dari setiap responden dilakukan pengambilan darah sebanyak 5 ml untuk dilakukan pemeriksaan kadar gula darah puasa (KGD P), trigliserida, high density lipoprotein (HDL), dan inrferon- gamma (IFN-γ). Pemeriksaan KGD, trigliserida, HDL dilakukan dengan metode enzimatik kolorimetrik. Pemeriksaan konsentrasi protein IFN-γ menggunakan teknik sandwich Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Hasil: Konsentrasi IFN-γ pada kelompok non-DM lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok DM. Terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara rata-rata konsentrasi IFN-γ pada kelompok non-DM dibandingkan dengan kelompok DM (p=0,000). Semua penderita DM mengalami peningkatan KGD P, sebagian besar mengalami hipertrigliserida, namun kadar HDL normal. Pada kelompok KGD P <126 mg/dl memiliki konsentrasi IFN-γ yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok dengan KGD P ≥126 mg/dl. Terdapat perbedaan bermakna perbedaan konsentrasi IFN-γ antar kedua kelompok tersebut (p=0,000). Kelompok dengan kadar trigliserida <150 mg/dl memiliki kadar IFN-γ lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan kelompok dengan kadar trigliserida ≥ 150 mg/dl. Terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara rata-rata konsentrasi konsentrasi IFN-γ antar kedua kelompok tersebut (p=0,000). Pada kelompok KGD P ≥126 mg/dl dan trigliserida ≥ 150 mg/dl memiliki kadar IFN-γ yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok KGD P ≥126 mg/dl namun trigliserida <150 mg/dl. Terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara rata-rata konsentrasi konsentrasi IFN-γ antar kedua kelompok tersebut (p=0,000). Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan konsentrasi IFN-γ pada orang dengan DM, peningkatan KGD P dan dislipidemia dibandingkan dengan orang normal. Kata kunci : IFN-γ, diabetes mellitus, dislipidemia.
The research objective was determine the effect of various growth media and growmore fertilizer on the acclimatization of Dendrobium orchids. study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) Factorial consisting of 2 factors, the first is (M) of growing media which consists of 3 levels, namely: M1 (medium fern root), M2 (wood charcoal medium), M3 (coir media coconut) and the second is (G) growmore fertilizer which consists of 4 levels, namely: G0 (without Growmore fertilizer), G1 (Growmore fertilizer 2 g / liter), G2 (fertilizer Growmore 4 g / liter), G3 (Growmore fertilizer 6 g / liter). Determine the growth of orchid plants, observations were made with the following parameters Growth Percentage (%), Plant Height (cm), Number of leaves (strands), and Number of tillers (stems). Data obtained were analyzed statistically, then continued with the Honestly Significant Difference Test (BNJ) at the level of 5%. The results showed that the single treatment of the use of growing media did not have a significant effect on the parameters of observation of growth percentage (%), plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), and number of tillers (stems). The growth of growmore fertilizer also did not show a significant effect on the parameters of observation of growth percentage (%), plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), and number of tillers (stems). Interaction of the use of various growth media and growmore fertilizer did not show a significant effect on the percentage of growth (%), plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), and number of tillers (stems).
Formalin adalah senyawa yang dapat digunakan sebagai pengawet tapi tidak boleh digunakan pada pangan karena formalin merupakan senyawa yang bersifat toksik dan sangat berbahaya bagi kesehatan. Menurut beberapa penelitian formalin dalam pangan dapat berkurang atau bahkan hilang dengan pengolahan. Jeruk nipis adalah salah satu bahan alam yang sering digunakan masyarakat dalam pengolahan bahan pangan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kadar residu formalin pada ikan tongkol yang diberi jeruk nipis (Citrus aurantifolia). Penetapan kadar residu formalin pada sampel menggunakan metode spektrofotometri visibel dengan menggunakan pereaksi Schiff. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Anafarma Universitas Abdurrab pada bulan Februari 2015. Hasil penelitian kadar residu formalin pada sampel yang diberi jeruk nipis 20%, 40%, 60% dan 80% adalah 2453,40; 2030,78; 1907,91 dan 1517,04 µg/g. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kadar residu formalin pada sampel berkurang seiring dengan meningkatnya konsentrasi jeruk nipis yang diberikan.
