Objetivo: Analisar o perfil epidemiológico da tuberculose no estado de Pernambuco nos últimos 10 anos. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, retrospectivo e quantitativo dos casos de tuberculose no estado de Pernambuco no período de 2009 a 2019. Os elementos utilizados são secundários do Sistema de Informação e Agravos de Notificação (SINAN) encontrados através do Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS). Resultados: Nos últimos 10 anos foram notificados 61.449 casos de tuberculose no estado de Pernambuco. Ao analisar o perfil de casos confirmados, constatou-se que 70% são do sexo masculino, a faixa etária de 20 a 39 anos prevaleceu com 28.458 casos notificados. A forma clínica de tuberculose mais prevalente no período foi a pulmonar, com 52.242 casos notificados. Conclusão: Os resultados encontrados no presente estudo mostram que em Pernambuco houve prevalência da tuberculose em homens na idade reprodutiva e de baixa escolaridade. A tuberculose continua sendo um grave problema de saúde pública no Estado de Pernambuco. Portanto, ações diretas e indiretas voltadas à prevenção da tuberculose, em diversos espaços de regiões de saúde. Nesse sentido, compreender a dinâmica epidemiológica da tuberculose se torna prioritário a inclusão de ofertas de educação em saúde devido à falta de informação como os fatores de riscos relacionados à patologia de forma a evitar a infecção no estado de Pernambuco.
Objetivo: Qualificar o perfil epidemiológico da coinfecção por HIV e leishmaniose visceral no estado de Alagoas nos últimos 10 anos. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, retrospectivo e quantitativo dos casos confirmados de leishmaniose visceral por coinfecção por HIV no estado de Alagoas no período de 2009 a 2019. Os dados utilizados são secundários do Sistema de Informação e Agravos de Notificação (SINAN) encontrados através do Departamento de Informática do Sistema Único de Saúde (DATASUS). Resultados: Nos últimos 10 anos foram notificados 503 casos de Leishmaniose Visceral (LV) no estado de Alagoas, sendo 27 (5,37%) são coinfectados por HIV. Ao analisar o perfil de casos confirmados de Leishmaniose por coinfecção HIV, constatou-se que 77,8% são do sexo masculino, a faixa etária de 20 a 39 anos prevaleceu com 63% dos casos notificados. Conclusão: Os resultados encontrados no presente estudo mostram que em Alagoas houve prevalência da Leishmaniose por coinfecção HIV em homens na idade reprodutiva e de baixa escolaridade. Nesse sentido, compreender a dinâmica epidemiológica da LV, HIV/AIDS e da coinfecção LV/HIV-AIDS se torna prioritário a inclusão de ofertas de educação em saúde devido à falta de informação como os fatores de riscos relacionados às patologias de forma a evitar a coinfecção de HIV-LV no estado de Alagoas. Portanto a formulação de medidas eficazes para o controle dessas patologias que são tão relevantes para o serviço público de saúde e epidemiológico.
Objetivo: Apresentar a relação da infecção pelo SARS-CoV-2 com o tromboembolismo pulmonar, evidenciando assim, a importância dos exames de imagem no auxílio do diagnóstico desta patologia, enfatizando, as principais técnicas utilizadas, tais como: Radiografia, Tomografia Computadorizada e Angiografia Pulmonar. Metodologia: O presente estudo trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura de caráter descritiva e qualitativa, nas bases de dados eletrônicas Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), PubMed (MEDLINE), foram incluídos artigos publicados exclusivamente no ano de 2020. Resultados e Discussão: A COVID-19 é uma infecção viral respiratória que pode evoluir para doença trombótica ou formação de tromboembolismo, pois está associada ao aumento de quimiocinas e citocinas pró-inflamatórias, que levam ao aumento da permeabilidade vascular, entre outros. Devido a incidência de doenças trombóticas em pacientes acometidos pelo novo coronavírus, tem-se utilizado os exames de imagem, dentre eles, o Raio-X e TC de tórax apresentam melhores resultados evidentes. Contudo, a TC apresenta especificidade e sensibilidade superior se comparada a Radiografia. Conclusão: Concluiu-se que a COVID-19 provoca alterações hematológicas que predispõem a formação de tromboembolismo, diante dessas alterações faz-se necessário a utilização dos exames por imagem, sendo eles imprescindíveis para a confirmação do diagnóstico.
Introdução: A tuberculose é a principal causa de morte por doenças infecciosas, seguida da coinfecção tuberculose-HIV. Conhecer os determinantes sociais que corroboram para a incidência da coinfecção pode viabilizar a implementação e a adaptação de políticas públicas que visem a prevenção, o diagnóstico precoce e a adesão ao tratamento de ambas as infecções. Objetivo: Identificar, a partir dos principais aspectos sociodemográficos da coinfecção tuberculose-HIV no Brasil abordados na literatura, os Determinantes Sociais da Saúde (DSS) que estão atrelados ao desenvolvimento dessa coinfecção. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo de caráter descritivo e qualitativo realizado através da revisão integrativa da literatura, que compreendeu a busca e análise de materiais indexados nos bancos de dados LILACS, PubMed e SciELO, publicados nos idiomas português, inglês e espanhol, entre os anos de 2011 e 2021. Resultados e discussão: Após a análise dos materiais, 10 trabalhos foram selecionados para a composição do presente estudo. O perfil sociodemográfico encontrado foi: sexo masculino, entre 20 e 39 anos, com até 11 anos de escolaridade. Dentre os fatores de risco, se encontram o alcoolismo, o uso e dependência de drogas e a AIDS. Já os DSS encontrados foram: padrões de gênero, condição socioeconômica desfavorável, exclusão social e outros. Conclusão: Através do levantamento realizado, foi possível identificar muitas variáveis e determinantes sociais da saúde associados ao desenvolvimento da coinfecção, demonstrando, principalmente, as situações econômicas e comportamentais desfavoráveis. Faz-se necessário, portanto, o desenvolvimento de estratégias conjuntas de políticas públicas, dando atenção aos determinantes mais relevantes.
