Tourism represents the fastest growing branch of economy, which is focused on the realization of economic effects. In the previous period of tourism development, no account was taken of natural resources and the environment. Contemporary trends indicate the existence of a growing demand for preserved natural resources аnd ecologically clean environment. This trend has caused sustainable tourism development, which will establish a positive relationship between the tourism development and the preservation of the environment. This paper presents the fundamentals of sustainable tourism development. Serbia's mountain areas have a preserved potential of natural resources and the environment, which are the basis for the development of sustainable tourism. The aim of paper is to analyze the previous tourism development of mountain tourist destinations in Serbia, such as Kopaonik and Tara. The indicators of sustainable tourism are tested in this paper, and the results will show whether the previous tourism development in these areas was sustainable or unsustainable.
The purpose of the paper is to present a rural tourism destination and its tourist turnover, in the case study of Ivanjica municipality. Rural tourism is one of the leading tourism products in the global tourism market. Rural tourism destinations have become very prominent in many countries, including Serbia. Within these destinations there are various tourism elements such as traditional culture, archaeological and architectural heritage, gastronomy, recreation, history, sports, etc. Rural area is not just a village. Rural areas also refer to all settlements with no city status. The paper presents the statistical analysis results of tourist turnover in Ivanjica municipality from 2011 to 2018. The statistical analysis is based on data obtained from Tourist Organisation of Ivanjica. Based on analysis results, Discussion and Conclusions provide an overview of the current situation, as well as recommendations for future activities aimed at improving tourist turnover in this destination.
The significance of quality measurement and the value of components of a hotel service offer can be observed in the connection with the clients' satisfaction. The goal of this paper is to measure the level of satisfaction with the quality of hotel service, i.e. to identify the possibilities for establishing and development of long-term relations with the hotel's clients. Happy guests show a larger degree of satisfaction and loyalty and they visit the hotel again, recommend it to their friends, which affects the hotel's profits, and the development of tourism as a whole. The research was conducted in eight hotels in Serbia. Primary data were obtained by using survey method and 87 respondents, all of which were the guests of the hotels. The respondents expressed their claims on 7 points of Likert scale. The data analysis was conducted by applying the statistical program IBM SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences SPSS 20).
Najposećeniji nacionalni parkovi Srbije su Kopaonik i Tara. Cilj rada jeste poređenje ova dva nacionalna parka kao turističkih destinacija i ukazivanje na značaj planiranja turizma u nacionalnim parkovima. Podaci o trenutnom stanju turizma u Nacionalnom parku Tara i Nacionalnom parku Kopaonik prikupljeni su pregledom stručne literature veb-sajtova, obrađeni su deskriptivno, putem poređenja, odnosno benčmarkinga i statističkim metodama. Benčmarking analiza je izvršena na najposećenijim nacionalnim parkovima Srbije, ali treba istaći da motivi posete ovim destinacijama nisu samo njihove zaštićene prirodne vrednosti. Kopaonik je nakon Zlatibora najposećenija planina u Srbiji i atraktivni zimski centar ne samo na domaćem već i na međunarodnom tržištu. Turistički kapaciteti Kopaonika su brojniji i po kvalitetu bolji u odnosu na one koje se nalaze na Tari. Takođe, na Kopaoniku se ostvaruje veći turistički promet nego na planini Tari.
