Résumé L'intervention sociologique interpelle le sociologue dans sa capacité à mobiliser de manière originale des concepts et des méthodes pour répondre aux singularités de l'univers social, objet de son intervention. Cette construction contingente sollicite le sociologue dans une multitude de rapports sociaux et d'interactions, questionnant ainsi sa posture et sa subjectivité. À partir d'une relecture secondaire d'une intervention conduite au début des années 2010, l'auteure se propose d'explorer cette dimension sensible du métier qui met à l'épreuve le sociologue. Et ce faisant, de comprendre en quoi une mise au travail de ses émotions et de ses affects est un matériau utile, précieux qui « raconte » sur le contexte, la situation et la relation d'intervention et qui in fine permet au sociologue de maintenir une implication distanciée.
Des démarches d'accompagnement de changement au sein d'organisations peuvent être conduites à partir d'outils, de concepts et de visées « sociologiques ». À partir de deux interventions réalisées dans des contextes très différents-entreprises de transport public et réseau de santé-les auteurs montrent l'intérêt de centrer l'accompagnement sur la construction de politiques de gestion congruentes avec la réalité sociale et culturelle de l'organisation. Ils présentent les étapes de leur démarche et analysent les processus d'apprentissage collectif engagés vers cette finalité.
