Objetivo: Mapear as publicações científicas sobre o uso da musicoterapia voltada a pacientes com Covid-19. Método: Trata-se de revisão de escopo desenvolvida segundo metodologia do Joanna Briggs Institute. As buscas foram realizadas na Biblioteca virtual em Saúde, PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus, EMBASE, além de periódicos nacionais e internacionais específicos de musicoterapia não indexados. Incluíram-se artigos publicados até março de 2022 que abordaram a musicoterapia ou a intervenção musical com fins terapêuticos voltada ao cuidado de pacientes diagnosticados com Covid-19. A sumarização dos resultados ocorreu de forma descritiva por meio de quadros e análise qualitativa dos conteúdos do texto de cada artigo. Resultados: A amostra foi constituída por cinco publicações que compreenderam desde artigos originais, como estudos experimentais até relato de casos de clínicos, as quais foram sintetizadas em três categorias, a saber: 1. Música sem fronteiras para pacientes com Covid-19, 2. Experiências musicais e métodos musicoterapêuticos adotados no cuidado a pacientes com Covid-19, 3. Efeitos da musicoterapia/intervenção musical em pacientes com Covid-19 e em seus cuidadores. Conclusão: Apesar da escassez de estudos sobre a temática, conclui-se que a musicoterapia tem sido utilizada principalmente na modalidade online, transpassando barreiras físicas para chegar à casa ou ao leito de pacientes com Covid-19, a partir do uso de diferentes experiências musicais e métodos musicoterapêuticos que contribuem para melhora dos parâmetros vitais, diminuição da ansiedade, melhora da qualidade de vida, além de redução do isolamento e estímulo à conexão social entre pacientes com Covid-19 e seus familiares/cuidadores.
