Collaborative relationships and competitive performance of Brazilian companies Relaciones colaborativas y desempeño competitivo de empresas brasileñas RESUMORelacionamentos interorganizacionais colaborativos representam potenciais fontes de vantagem competitiva, especialmente no contexto de gerenciamento de processos críticos em cadeias de suprimentos. A colaboração entre empresas pode ser fundamental à minimização do risco de comportamentos oportunistas entre parceiros e influenciar o melhor aproveitamento de recursos complementares entre os agentes econômicos. O objetivo deste artigo é descrever a natureza da relação entre a colaboração na cadeia de suprimentos e o desempenho competitivo, avaliando o efeito dos sistemas e das tecnologias de informação como moderadores da relação entre colaboração e desempenho. Utilizando a modelagem de equações estruturais para analisar dados referentes a uma amostra de 368 empresas brasileiras, verificou-se o impacto positivo da colaboração no desempenho competitivo das empresas e a atuação dos sistemas e das tecnologias de informação como moderadores dessa relação. RESUMO O tumor venéreo transmissível (TVT) é uma neoplasia maligna de células redondas, de origem supostamente histiocítica. É uma patologia bem conhecida e comumente diagnosticada em cães, principalmente naqueles que tenham acesso à rua e contato com animais errantes, isto porque é transmitido através do transplante de células tumorais viáveis seja pelo coito, forma mais comumente vista, ou pelo contato do tumor com mucosas e soluções de continuidade. Este trabalho teve como objetivo relatar caso de TVT de localização incomum em cão macho, adulto, sem raça definida, que foi encaminhado ao setor de Patologia Animal da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia para realização de necropsia. À necropsia observou-se massa no globo ocular medindo aproximadamente 1,5 cm de diâmetro, de consistência friável, coloração avermelhada intercalada com áreas esbranquiçadas e massa na base do pênis de aproximadamente 2,0 cm de diâmetro e com as mesmas características da massa no olho. Microscopicamente, observou-se células arredondadas, exibindo moderado pleomorfismo, basofílicas, citoplasma em quantidade moderada, basofílico e apresentando vacúolos, núcleo central, esférico e basofílico. Foi diagnosticado tumor venéreo transmissível a partir das características morfológicas das células obtidas por punção aspirativa por agulha fina das massas no pênis e globo ocular. Trata-se de localização pouco comum de TVT e o teste citopatológico foi suficiente e adequado para o diagnóstico desta patologia. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: caninos, neoplasia, olho.
RESUMOA hidrocefalia congênita é uma afecção, que acomete mais frequentemente cães de raças de pequeno porte, decorrente do aumento de volume de líquido cefalorraquidiano dentro do sistema ventricular, com consequente dilatação e destruição do parênquima cerebral. Este trabalho teve como objetivo relatar dois casos desta anomalia. O primeiro de uma cadela, da raça Pinscher, com 42 dias de idade e o segundo de uma cadela, da raça Maltês, 18 meses de idade. As cadelas foram encaminhadas ao setor de Patologia Animal da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia para realização de necropsia. Macroscopicamente verificou-se, dentre outras alterações, aumento de tamanho da caixa craniana, alargamento de fontanelas, assimetria dos telencéfalos e dilatação dos ventrículos laterais, que estavam preenchidos por demasiada quantidade de líquido citrino. Microscopicamente foi possível observar, em fragmentos de córtex cerebral e cerebelar, aumento do espaço perivascular e vasos repletos de hemácias, que caracterizou edema e congestão de cérebro e cerebelo. A detecção da hidrocefalia na idade da cadela Maltês é incomum, já que a maioria dos animais que manifestam a doença não atinge à idade adulta. A reunião de achados clínicos, anatomopatológicos e de imagem permitiu o diagnóstico de hidrocefalia congênita. PALAVRAS-CHAVE: hidrocéfalo, líquido cefalorraquidiano, ventrículos cerebrais. Diferentes teorias e modelos foram validados, nos últimos anos, em pesquisas orientadas à compreensão dos antecedentes, correlatos e consequentes de práticas colaborativas sobre o desempenho de empresas e cadeias de suprimento. Há também evidências empíricas que corroboram a importância das novas tecnologias de informação para o avanço de práticas colaborativas e para a integração de processos no contexto das cadeias de suprimentos. Este artigo, de natureza teórica e conceitual, procura sintetizar parte dessas contribuições e avançar, ao propor uma discussão sobre o papel das novas tecnologias de informação na promoção das práticas colaborativas, como um construto multidimensional, complexo e fortemente influenciado pela integração dos processos interorganizacionais.
