Em "O Show do Eu: a intimidade como espetáculo", obra gestada a partir da pesquisa de doutorado da argentina Paula Sibilia, são apresentados aspectos sociais e históricos do incessante comportamento de mostrar a intimidade nas redes sociais. O ensaio é um daqueles textos tão atuais que, independente da área acadêmica, se faz necessário devido à sua imediaticidade crítica e exposição dos hábitos assentados que permeiam o dia a dia. Em conversa constante com Guy Debord, no célebre "A Sociedade do Espetáculo", a autora complementa as teses cunhadas em 1967, levandoas a um novo patamar ao apontar os processos entre o século XX e XXI que alavancaram as condutas de espetacularização do espaço íntimo.Partindo dos blogs, passando pelas demais redes sociais que inundam o ciberespaço, a autora busca compreender o advento das subjetividades transfiguradas no ato de postar a intimidade, partindo da hipótese de uma mudança histórica ainda em andamento. Desse modo, Sibilia inicia o ensaio com questionamentos fundamentais, explicitando casos que nem necessitariam de tantas elucidações por terem se tornado óbvios e corriqueiros. Entre eles, a autora pergunta o porquê de tanta exposição acontecer no presente, se a razão seria um surto de megalomania estimulada pela sociedade ou um compartilhamento desenfreado provocado por um sentimento de humildade exacerbada?
O presente artigo analisa a crítica de telenovela realizada e veiculada no ambiente digital dos anos de 2012 a 2018, a partir do estudo dos críticos Maurício Stycer e Cristina Padiglione. Nosso objetivo principal é apreender a função dessa crítica de telenovela contemporânea, compreendendo suas características no cenário brasileiro e sua circulação de sentidos. Para isso, analisamos as críticas e entrevistas desses profissionais, entrevendo seus processos de escrita, repertórios e tipos de avaliações. Os resultados mostram que essa crítica atual privilegia análises de caráter estético, reflexões sobre as características da telenovela brasileira e o próprio lugar da crítica; bem como uma pauta de valores, em que emergem os elementos políticos e uma demanda para questões sociais apresentadas nas ficções, evidenciando uma crítica que incide e dialoga com as questões da sociedade.
