En este artículo se re exiona acerca de ciertas problemáticas vinculadas al estudio de los grupos en el sitio de red social Facebook, en particular aquellos que nuclean a emigrados argentinos, y entendiendo a los procesos de movilidad como una migración mediatizada. Asumiendo que las migraciones se desarrollan también en distintos espacios mediáticos, se busca poner en discusión las tensiones resultantes de conjugar cuestiones de carácter íntimo visibilizadas públicamente, con la elaboración de una identidad nacional realizada en tales espacios online.
En el presente artículo buscaremos abordar la categoría de identidad, a partir de diferentes corrientes teóricas dentro del análisis del discurso y en relación a trabajos de investigación actualmente en curso. Intentaremos dar cuenta del eje problemático de la identidad pensando a la misma desde su construcción discursiva, que pone en juego diversos tipos de organizaciones textuales y de prácticas sociales; reconociendo que, en el cruce de ambas, se dará lugar a un espacio de significación que permitirá la construcción de subjetividades. Consideramos la identidad como contingente y producida dentro de un contexto histórico específico, y donde es central la diferenciación simbólica respecto de otros. Las diferentes construcciones identitarias, por su parte, se realizarán a través de la relación entre lenguaje, sentido y vínculo social; construyéndose su significación específica en el entrecruzamiento de estos tres ámbitos. El objetivo de este trabajo será el de realizar, a partir de estas conceptualizaciones, un recorrido teórico que nos permita dar cuenta de las prácticas discursivas que coadyuvan a la construcción de identidades, entre las que nos interesan particularmente la identidad migrante, la identidad política y la de género.
