En este artículo presentamos una revisión de las principales técnicas de evaluación de factores psicosociales en el entorno laboral. Se expone en primer lugar qué se entiende por factores psicosociales, en especial, aquellas entidades dedicadas a la protección y salud de los trabajadores; más adelante se explican los modelos que con mayor frecuencia han estudiado estos riesgos en relación con la enfermedad: el Modelo demanda-control (Karasek, 1979; Karasek y Theorell, 1990) y el Modelo del desequilibrio esfuerzo-recompensa (Siegrist, 1996, 1998). Finalizamos comentando extensamente las principales técnicas utilizadas en prevención de riesgos laborales para evaluar estos factores, así como los esfuerzos que, desde el Laboratorio de Psicología del Trabajo y Estudios de Seguridad de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, UCM, se están realizando para construir y validar un cuestionario sobre factores psicosociales en el trabajo: el Cuestionario Multidimensional Decore (3).
El propósito de este artículo es destacar el papel fundamental y estratégico que la comunicación, en especial, la interna (la que va dirigida a las personas que trabajan y forman parte de la misma) debe representar para toda organización y cómo la comunicación se encuentra relacionada con la cultura implantada en ella. Se explican posteriormente los distintos tipos de comunicación interna (ascendente, descendente y horizontal), analizando sus ventajas y los problemas que pueden surgir en su desarrollo; además, se comentan algunas de las herramientas que pueden emplearse para conseguir una comunicación eficaz y eficiente. También se señala la importancia de llevar a cabo la implantación de un plan de comunicación interna, y se tratan los puntos que resultan esenciales para llevarla a cabo con éxito.
Tras revisar en un trabajo previo qué es ladiversidad, porqué es necesario gestionarlaadecuadamente y realizar una aproximacióna la realidad empresarial españolaen este terreno, vamos a examinar algunasde las buenas prácticas que lasempresas en nuestro país están llevando acabo al respecto. A raíz de la investigaciónrecientemente presentada, sabemos queotras muchas organizaciones son conscientesde la importancia de la gestión dela diversidad cultural en el funcionamientoempresarial, pero aún no han desarrolladoplanes de actuación al respecto. Conel fin de facilitar el primer paso, desarrollamosun modelo de gestión de la diversidadcultural (reconocido con la menciónespecial en el II Premio Cum Laude deInvestigación Manpower). Se ofrece unmarco de referencia para que las organizacionesdecidan qué movimientos darhacia una gestión más integral de la diversidadcultural incorporándolos a las prácticasde Recursos Humanos, (RR.HH.)
Este artículo representa una revisiónteórica sobre los principales modelos yprocedimientos de evaluación de lacarga mental de trabajo. Comenzamosdefiniendo el término carga mental detrabajo siguiendo una concepción multidimensional,según la cual existendiferentes fuentes causantes de la cargamental.
