Hypertension is a disease that is often experienced by the elderly and it becomes a global health issue that requires special attention because it can lead to major deaths in developed countries as well as developing countries. One of the risk factors of hypertension is anxiety. Anxiety is caused due to various circumstances such as worry, anxiety, fear, discomfort accompanied by various physical complaints and health problems. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship of degree of hypertension with anxiety level in elderly groupThe type of this research is analytical study with cross sectional, that have 95 population elderly and become 67 elder total sampel of characteristic inclusion. Data were collected using questionnaire and analyzed by using chi-square test. The Results Discussion have Degrees of hypertensive disease in elderly individuals (36%) were at mild and severe levels with moderate anxiety level in elderly (44.78%). The result of chi-square test using SPSS, P = 0,000 which is smaller than α = 0,05 meaning that there is a very significant relation on degree of hypertension with anxiety level in elderly groupBased on the results of research, the nurse will improve the elderly health by maintaining the promotion effort in the form of health counseling to the elderly group, empowering the elderly group and maintaining the psychological condition.
BACKGROUND: One of the most pressing challenges is the need to strengthen health systems based on primary health-care principles. Innovation and system transformation are needed to ensure the proper provision and distribution of health personnel, one of the most promising of which is interprofessional collaboration. AIM: The aim of this research is to produce a disaster management interprofessional education (IPE) development model. METHODS: Design of this research is one group pre- and post-test. The study used a questionnaire to measure the collaborative abilities of students before and after the implementation of IPE using the IPE model compiled by researchers. The population were Nursing Diploma students of Polytechnic of Ministry of Health Manado 3rd year, amounting to 380 people with sample counting using the Slovin formula so as to obtain a total sample of 79 people. RESULTS: The results showed an increase in the average value of the post-test increased by 130.78 from the average value of the pre-test which was 83.04. Wilcoxon statistical test results showed p = 0.000 (<0.005), which means an increase in collaboration skills after respondents were given disaster management IPE learning through virtual learning. CONCLUSIONS: The IPE model was developed effectively in improving the collaboration skills of students in disaster management.
The knowledge of students about disaster prevention emergency patients in vocational Yadika Langowan is still lacking where 80% do not know about Preparedness in facing flood victims. The lack of students' knowledge about preparedness in facing flood victims is due to the lack of exposure of students to health care about preparedness in facing flood victims. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education on preparedness in the face of flood victims on student knowledge.The research design in this study was a one-group pre-experimental pre-post test design to compare knowledge before and after being given health education about preparedness to face flood victims to students' knowledge. The population in this study were all students of the Manado Cokroaminoto Vocational School and the sample was students of class X and XI 68 people who were determined by purposive sampling. Analysis with the Wilcoxon signed rank testThe results of the test have a significant effect on health education about preparedness to face flood victims to increase knowledge (p-value = 0,000; α = 0.05). The conclusion is that health education about preparedness to face flood victims increases student knowledge
Background: Game online is played by more than one player (multiplayer) simultaneously, anywhere and anytime using a laptop, computer or smartphone that is supported by an internet connection. Too often playing online games has an effect on personality because it tends to absorb and mimic everything that is seen so that it triggers aggressive behavior that can unwittingly kill the character of others, because swearing, harsh words, insults, and ridicule makes someone very hurt and the consequences will painful and settled in someone's memory. Aims: of this research study is to find out whether there is a relationship between the intensity of playing violent online games and the aggressive behavior of students. Methods and Result: The study design used correlation analytic with a cross-sectional approach on 32 respondents who were determined by purposive sampling. Data collection questionnaire aggressive behavior and intensity of playing online games. The test used Chi-square (x2) statistics. The results showed the intensity of playing online games with the most violence at a moderate level, namely 18 students (56.3%), with moderate aggressive behavior of 20 students (62.5%). Conclusion of the research conducted at class X students of SMK Negeri 1 Tumpaan is that there is a very significant relationship on the intensity of playing violent online games with aggressive behavior of students with the statistical test results p-value = 0.002 which is smaller than α = 0.05. Suggestions that students use free time by doing more useful things to avoid aggressive behavior and health problems caused by playing violent online games with a long time intensity.
Background: Stress is the response of the body and mind to everything that disturbs a person's balance. Stress can also be experienced by anyone without knowing the age limit and has a long-term effect, it also results in to increase in disease conditions one of which is hypertension in every stage of human life, especially in the elderly (Elderly). One of non-pharmacological method that can reduce blood pressure is by providing music therapy. Aims: This study to determine music therapy for changes in stress levels in elderly hypertensive patients. The design of this study is analytic operational using the cross-sectional approach. Methods: was analytic correlation using a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study amounted to 214 people. A sample of 21 respondents was obtained using a purposive sampling technique, and data were collected using the DASS (Depression Anxiety Stress Scale) questionnaire and a blood pressure measurement tool for sphygmomanometers. Result: Chi-Square analysis with an alternative test is the Exact Test using SPSS. The results of the study stress levels in elderly hypertensive patients are in the mild category that is 81%. This shows that there is a significant relationship between stress levels and hypertension in elderly hypertension patients with significance level α = 0.05 or 95% value ρ = 0.012 <α = 0.05. Conclusion: The conclusion is the relationship of music therapy to changes in stress levels in elderly hypertensive patients in the working area of the Tateli Health Center in Mandolang District. Suggestions for future researchers This study can be used as a reference to increase knowledge in carrying out nursing care in hypertensive patients, especially it is recommended that you use an audiometry device in order to know the level of hearing.
