La hemorragia subaracnoidea es un sangrado en el espacio subaracnoideo causado usualmente por ruptura espontanea de un aneurisma o por trauma craneoencefálico. El síntoma clínico mas importante es la cefalea en trueno asociada o no a alteraciones neurológicas, estos pacientes deben ser valorado por hemorragia subaracnoidea y realizarle una tomografía computariza en las primeras 6 horas para confirmación del diagnostico y posteriormente Angio tac, el tratamiento quirúrgico o endoscópico será indicado por especialistas en neurocirugía. Las complicaciones mas frecuentes son resangrado, vasoespasmo, edema cerebral, hiponatremia e hidrocefalia.

La migraña se considera el tipo de cefalea más invalidante a nivel social, económico y psicológico. Sus síntomas suelen durar de 4 a 72 horas, provocando un dolor de características: unilateral, pulsátil, que empeora ante la actividad física y que asocia síntomas como náuseas, vómitos, fotofobia y fonofobia. En el tratamiento de la migraña existen dos principales ejes: Tratamiento agudo del episodio migrañoso; y prevención de nuevas crisis y disminución de sintomatología.
