Este artículo describe el proceso de creación y diseño de una serie de actividades destinadas al aprendizaje del léxico de la gestión hotelera en lengua francesa en contexto profesional. El formato elegido para enmarcar dichas actividades es la WebQuest que, basada en los principios del socioconstructivismo, promueve entre otros, el aprendizaje por descubrimiento. Aplicando, además, una metodología de investigación en acción, se presentan los resultados obtenidos tras su utilización por estudiantes universitarios de francés de especialidad. Las conclusiones obtenidas permiten: (1) comprobar la adecuación y efectividad de la herramienta creada, (2) reflexionar sobre la idoneidad o adaptabilidad de este tipo de herramientas web o metodologías de aprendizaje de lenguas según los diferentes contextos y (3) confirmar que la utilización de las TIC combinada con metodologías activas redunda positivamente en la práctica docente y en la preparación de futuros profesionales del turismo y de otros ámbitos específicos con garantías de calidad.
este artículo partimos de un corpus comparable de 3 millones de palabras en inglés, castellano y francés recopilado a partir de páginas web privadas de alojamientos turísticos, base de la creación del Diccionario Multilingüe de Turismo (DMT) del equipo de investigación COMETVAL (Análisis léxico y discursivo de corpus paralelos y comparables –español, inglés y francés– de páginas electrónicas de promoción turística, FFI2011-24712, concedido por el Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad, en 2012-2014). Nos centramos en el campo léxicosemántico de la gestión hotelera y en el sub-corpus de lengua francesa analizando las unidades terminológicas empleadas (colocaciones) para proponer paquetes turísticos –elementos indispensables para la promoción hotelera- así como sus combinaciones léxicas.
