O livro Caminhos da Educação Integral no Brasil insere-se num conjunto de obras que vêm oportunizando reflexões acerca da educação como formação integral, não como uma retórica, mas como um projeto coletivo viável, concretizado em práticas que possibilitam reinventar a escola, ressignificando não só seu lugar, central num projeto educativo, mas, sobretudo, como articuladora de ações, de educadores, agentes e instituições.A organização desse livro muito se assemelha ao processo que instituiu, a partir de 2007, sob a coordenação do Ministério da Educação, amplo debate no território nacional sobre Educação Integral, alavancado pelo documento Educação Integral: texto-referência para o debate nacional (BRASIL, Ministério da Educação, 2009), por sua vez fruto de trabalho conjunto de representantes de diversas instâncias e esferas, além de pesquisadores, professores e educadores de várias regiões do país. A professora Jaqueline Moll, também responsável pela organização desse livro, vem, desde então, assumindo a gestão do processo que busca identificar e dar visibilidade a experiências já em curso, por meio de estudos realizados com o auxílio de pesquisadores de Universidades públicas, e incentivar e acompanhar tantas outras construídas e construindo-se, principalmente pela adesão ao Programa Mais Educação, indutor da política de Estado para a Educação Integral.A importância desse registro deve-se ao fato de que a referida professora conseguiu organizar o livro através também de um amplo e democrático processo, em que escolhas e decisões foram sendo tomadas, uma a uma, no diálogo com e entre os autores e seus pontos de vista, ou a partir da vista de seus pontos, diversos, diferentes e complementares. RESUMO: Este artigo discute aspectos presentes nos cenários escolares que envolvem experiências de jornada ampliada na perspectiva contemporânea de Educação Integral. Tal perspectiva tem entre seus pressupostos a centralidade, e não a centralização, da escola na coordenação dos processos educativos previstos no Projeto Político Pedagógico (PPP). Problematiza-se a relação desse projeto, enquanto marca identitária de uma comunidade educativa, com a proposta de Educação Integral, através da extensão da jornada escolar e das experiências, como ampliação do direito à aprendizagem. O foco desta análise é refletir de que forma o PPP da escola dialoga com os pressupostos e as ações inerentes a essa proposta, a qual envolve saberes populares, outros espaços, agentes educativos e práticas de gestão escolar. Conceitos como identidade pedagógica, Educação Integral e Projeto Político Pedagógico são aportados neste texto, a partir das referências de Paulo Freire, Miguel G. Arroyo e Ilma Passos Veiga, dentre outros.
Esta pesquisa analisa as mudanças ocorridas na qualidade de ensino da escola Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Major Antônio de Alencar, da cidade de Osório/ RS, através da implantação do projeto Escola de Turno Integral. Realizou-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica sobre o contexto histórico e as concepções de Educação Integral no Brasil e através da pesquisa qualitativa com referências nas obras de Godoy (1995), Brandão (2000) e Ludke & André (2003). Os fenômenos foram estudados a partir da participação ativa do pesquisador no contexto da escola, sob a perspectiva da pesquisa Qualitativa. A escola analisada faz parte do projeto Programa Mais Educação do Governo Federal que prevê a oferta de educação integral.O debate sobre o ensino em período integral tem sido constante no contexto nacional de políticas públicas. Por isso, a pesquisa ajuda-nos a compreender melhor estes fenômenos.
