This study aims to test the temperature sensor that will be used in the biochar production furnace. Temperature testing is carried out to determine the ability of the sensor to respond to temperature changes that will be applied to the furnace. The sensors used in this system are the K-type thermocouple and the MAX6675 module. Testing is done by forming a control system. The system will be installed in the furnace by providing heating with fire in the furnace. The result of the maximum temperature was 574.25 °C at 575 seconds of heating for 1110 seconds. The test of corelation between the sensor output voltage to temperature when the temperature is raised from the beginning to the maximum, the sensor sensitivity is obtained at 5.1762 mV / °C and the slope of the graph is close to 1. Testing the relationship of the sensor output voltage to temperature when the temperature is lowered from the maximum point, the sensor sensitivity is obtained at 4.878 mV / °C and an offset voltage of 25 mV. The voltage-to-time correlation of the two tests is close to the value of 1, which means that the sensor linearity is very good so that it can be used as a temperature measurement tool.
] This research aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water parameter monitoring database system using the Thingspeak platform. This system is designed to monitor real-time water parameters such as temperature, water pH, and water turbidity. Sensors for monitoring these water parameters are installed on a Raspberry Pi microprocessor connected to the internet network. The data generated by the sensors and processed by the Raspberry Pi are then sent to the Thingspeak server. The database system developed in this research utilizes the features provided by the Thingspeak platform, such as data processing, visualization, and integration with other software. The data stored in the database can be accessed online through the dashboard provided by Thingspeak. The test results show that the IoT-based water parameter monitoring database system with the Thingspeak platform can function properly and provide accurate information on the monitored water conditions. The sensors installed on the water successfully sent data periodically to the Thingspeak platform every 10 seconds. The test results showed a deviation value of 0.9996 for the accuracy of the temperature parameter, where the accuracy value of the temperature varied from 96.30% to 100%. The average accuracy of the temperature measurement was 98.74%, and the average system error was 1.26%. The system accuracy test results range from 0.95 to 0.99. The testing was conducted on a laboratory scale, and in the future, this system can be developed for real-time water parameter monitoring over a longer period of time
Artikel ilmiah sebagai salah satu komponen penting dalam proses perkuliahan, saat ini artikelilmiah masih dianggap sulit oleh sebagian mahasiswa. Artikel ilmiah seharusnya dibuat denganaturan-aturan baku tertentu, tetapi tidak diperhatikan oleh mahasiswa. Selain itu dosenpembimbing skripsi kadang-kadang masih tidak memperhatikan tata cara penulisan artikel ilmiahtetapi hanya fokus terhadap hasil penelitiannya saja serta tidak memberikan koreksi ataupembenaran terhadap karya ilmiah yang dibuat oleh mahasiswa, sehingga mahasiswa harusbelajar secara mandiri untuk mengetahui cara membuat karya ilmiah yang baik dan benar.Program pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan kemauan dan kemampuan (motivasi)mahasiswa menulis karya tulis ilmiah berjenis makalah, diktat, modul dan PKM, sehinggamahasiswa menjadi produktif dalam menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah. Kegiatan PPM inidiharapkan dapat membekali mahasiswa TA kedua mitra tersebut mempunyai kemauan danketerampilan untuk membuat artikel ilmiah sehingga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan danwawasan serta dapat menulis artikel ilmiah dari hasil data magang dan skripsi. Hasil darikegiatan sosialiasi kegiatan pelatihan penulisan artikel ilmiah mahasiswa tugas akhir prodifarmasi dan prodi kimia Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Jambi telah dilaksanakandengan hasil baik.
