Os estudos educacionais não podem se limitar à escala da sala de aula ou mesmo da própria instituição escolar. Para que se compreendam os mais diferentes fenômenos que envolvem a educação é necessário ampliar o universo de compreensão para um campo maior, um recorte que vá “para além dos muros da escola”. O objetivo central aqui consiste em debater as diferentes perspectivas que tratem da dinâmica da educação sob o prisma da cidade. Entender a relação cidade-educação permite-nos avaliar não só os reflexos da urbe dentro da escola, mas também nos abre o olhar para as outras formas de educação que acontecem extramuros escolares. Na primeira parte, trataremos da relação cidade-instituição escolar. Compreenderemos as lógicas que orientaram as diferentes localizações da escola no interior das cidades brasileiras ao longo de todo último século. Em conseguinte iremos discutir a maneira com a qual a sociologia e o planejamento urbano têm abordado os impactos que o entorno da escola traz para dentro do próprio espaço escolar. Na segunda parte nos dedicaremos à discussão sobre as modalidades de educação que se realizam em diversos espaços da cidade. E é caminhando nessa direção que as elucidações sobre a dimensão educativa dos movimentos sociais e a chamada “pedagogia urbana” acabarão por guiar o desfecho do debate que aqui propomos.
The organizational climate represents the level of satisfaction of people in the workplace. Organizational climate research provides insight into the factors that motivate or demotivate employees in an organization. Thus, this article aims to analyze the factors that influence the organizational climate in a small foundry in the city of Claudio, MG. A descriptive case study was conducted, adopting the qualitative and quantitative approaches. Data collection was done by questionnaires applied to 95% of employees. The results indicate that the factors that most influence the organizational climate in a positive way are: adequate working environment and conditions, the employee performs the function according to his / her profile, job stability, best quality of life at work, benefits offered by the company, good relationship between team people, agility in company decisions, recognition for work performed, information received about their work, the company being open to new ideas, organizational structure. The factors that negatively influence him are: inadequate leadership style, ineffective communication, lack of training, lack of career advancement opportunities, lack of criteria for internal promotion, and unequal treatment of employees by leaders. Thus, the results revealed important information for the company, which can contribute to its repositioning in relation to meeting the needs of employees, which may contribute to increase their satisfaction with the work.
A maior parte das pesquisas geográficas relacionadas à educação está associada às investigações sobre o ensino da Geografia Escolar. No entanto, há um número crescente de publicações que enuncia a emergência de uma nova tendência. Referimo-nos à Geografia da Educação (GdE), cujo objeto de análise é o papel da espacialidade nos temas educacionais. Ocupa-se com tópicos que envolvem práticas, objetos e arranjos espaciais relativos à educação. Por ter natureza interdisciplinar, é coerente ver nos trabalhos em GdE a busca por aportes das ciências educacionais, uma associação que mobiliza olhares, recortes e escalas que escapam das abordagens mais habituais. Contudo, no caso brasileiro, as produções encontram-se esparsamente localizadas. A escassez de compilados em língua portuguesa é reveladora de uma demanda. É diante desse cenário que a Giramundo apresenta o presente número, especialmente dedicado à divulgação da Geografia da Educação. A primeira publicação desta natureza no Brasil. O caminho que nos trouxe até aqui inicia com a realização do Seminário Geografia da Educação, em dezembro de 2017, pelo Laboratório Território e Cidadania e pelo Programa de Pós-Graduação em Geografia na UFRJ. A segunda edição foi realizada dois anos depois no Colégio Pedro II. Na ocasião o evento foi organizado pelo curso de Especialização em Teorias e Práticas da Geografia Escolar (TPGE-CPII) em conjunto com a Faculdade de Educação da UFRJ. A presente edição da Giramundo se assume como um registro, ainda que fragmentário, dessa segunda edição do evento, por ser parcialmente formada pelas produções lá apresentadas. São reunidos nesta edição um total de nove artigos, uma entrevista, uma nota e uma resenha. Acreditamos haver aqui uma imagem mínima do atual estado da arte de uma Geografia da Educação no Brasil. A tematização proposta busca, por um lado, localizar o leitor sobre o que queremos dizer quando falamos sobre Geografia da Educação, e, por outro, apontar para abordagens, recortes e objetos mais recorrentes na bibliografia até aqui produzida. Se as suas escolhas seguiram uma ordem temática, consideramos que um bom modo de apresentação seria reproduzir a mesma orientação. O texto que abre a revista e a resenha que a encerra constituem, juntos, um primeiro eixo. São dois formatos distintos que se avizinham pelo esforço de apresentação e identificação do campo. Este é o objetivo do artigo "Por que falar sobre Geografia da Educação?", escrito por Enio Serra, professor da Faculdade de Educação da UFRJ, e Marcus Vinicius Gomes, professor do Colégio Pedro II. Considerando a elevação dos níveis de calor no planeta, da água do mar e outras muitas mudanças meteorológicas, o presente trabalho tem como problema de pesquisa a questão dos refugiados ambientais, uma nova classificação de refugiados em ascensão com o advento do aquecimento global. Sendo assim, discutiremos sobre a proteção legal destinada a esse novo arquétipo de ser humano, tanto no âmbito brasileiro, quanto internacional e ainda, discorreremos acerca dos futuros impactos das ações de hoje no amanhã.
