A partir de la primera década del siglo XX, el sindicalismo de acción directa operó en un sentido internacional y transnacional. Partiendo de los intentos por crear una estructura de coordinación internacional autónoma, pasando por el difícil período de la represión fascista, y poniendo finalmente a prueba la validez de las tesis anarcosindicalistas en España, las redes militantes fueron las verdaderas protagonistas de la historia del movimiento. El presente trabajo se centra en el caso italiano para seguir su actividad entre la clandestinidad y el exilio durante los años veinte y treinta. Se analiza una experiencia política que fue posible gracias la creación de redes militantes que establecieron un diálogo constante con las organizaciones sindicales de los países de acogida, experimentaron sus contradicciones económicas y, finalmente, participaron en la Guerra Civil española.

È laureando in Scienze storiche presso l'Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna con la tesi Il sindacalismo rivoluzionario in Francia e Italia: vite, generazioni, corrispondenze. I suoi interessi di ricerca vertono sul movimento operaio, anarchico e sulle origini del fascismo.
