Este artigo apresenta algumas das diversas abordagens de “fronteira”, a partir das quais ancoramos nossos debates teoricos nos cursos do Mestrado em Estudos Fronteiricos na UFMS. A perspectiva dos estudos interdisciplinares impoe grandes desafios para os pesquisadores, sejam eles professores e orientadores do curso de Mestrado, sejam alunos, que devem necessariamente transitar entre as varias areas de conhecimento. Como trabalhar, na pratica, os estudos fronteiricos sob uma perspectiva interdisciplinar? Como “cruzar as fronteiras” de nossas formacoes academicas? Este texto pretende, menos do que chegar a conclusoes definitivas sobre a questao, abrir o debate a partir de nossa experiencia de trabalho.
Este artigo se propõe a apresentar as experiências relacionadas à aplicação de pesquisas e de transferências de resultados nos âmbitos do Mestrado em Estudos Fronteiriços (MEF), da Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul, e do curso de Pós-Graduação em Antropologia, da Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, da Universidad de Buenos Aires. Trata de experiências de pesquisas aplicadas por equipes de ambos os programas de pós-graduação, bem como da forma como a parceria estabelecida a partir do desenvolvimento do Projeto “Fronteiras”, financiado pela Coordenação de Pessoal de Nível Superior (Capes), pelo Brasil, e pela Secretaria de Políticas Universitarias (SPU), pela Argentina, proporcionou melhorias nas ferramentas metodológicas utilizadas nas atividades de pesquisa. O artigo traz uma série de reflexões que permitem comparar as experiências desenvolvidas em ambos os programas de pós-graduação. Primeiramente, os pesquisadores da UBA relatam suas experiências com os povos indígenas em situação de fronteira, abordando diversos problemas que a comunidade demanda, buscando contribuir para a construção de soluções. Posteriormente, são apresentados os trabalhos desenvolvidos pelos pesquisadores do MEF junto a instituições e órgãos que atuam diretamente com imigrantes em região de fronteira, da mesma maneira que os da UBA, aplicando as pesquisas e transferindo os melhores resultados.
O objetivo deste artigo é marcar no campo metodológico da migração internacional a pendularidade em fronteira como aspecto relevante. Para tanto, entendemos que trabalhar com fronteira e migração internacional como junção temática exige cuidados, pois ambas as categorias são, comumente, carregadas de ideias advindas do senso comum que as localizam perifericamente nos entendimentos e discursos sobre a nação e a sociedade, tais como: provisoriedades, precariedades, ilicitudes. Os procedimentos metodológicos utilizados foram: revisão bibliográfica visando adequações às categorias abordadas; e, realização de entrevistas com sujeitos pendulares. O resultado foi a constatação de complexidades peculiares a esse grupo de imigrantes no espaço em que atuam.
O presente trabajo y fruto de continuidad de reflejos iniciados no curso Maestrade los Estudios Fronterizos de la Universidad Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul con el apoyo del Laboratorio de Estudios Fronterizos / UFMS. O presentar algunos reflejos relacionados con la inmigración en América Latina en los aspectos que involucran discursos y legitimidad. Parte-da una premisa que es posible pensar en migrar en ese espacio dentro de una referencia legítima y discursiva.
