Cad. AbstractThe aim of this study was to characterize the matrix support implementation as a coordination instrument between Mental Health and primary care, identifying its weaknesses and strengths. It is an Integrative Review, in which we selected some articles indexed in PubMed, besides NLM, and VHL, which provides the access to LILACS, MEDLINE and IBECS databases, from 1999 to 2013, in Portuguese, English and Spanish. The sample included 21 articles and the analysis allowed the identification of two categories: 1) aspects that hinder support matrix, and 2) aspects that potentiate the matrix support. The results brought out that: 24% of texts showed only positive aspects of the matrix support implementation; 28.5% showed only the results that hinder the execution; and 47.5% of the articles addressed both aspects. The publications revealed that, although there are aspects that preclude its achievement, matrix support, when properly used, is an important tool for the dialogue between Mental Health and primary care.

This qualitative study, using the fourth-generation evaluation, aimed to evaluate the care delivered to drug users in the context of a mental health care network. It was developed in a Family Health Strategy unit in Porto Alegre-RS. Data were collected between September 2010 and March 2011, by means of interviews and field observations. Study participants were 19 Family Health Strategy professionals. The results revealed (dis)connections of the lack of strategies aimed at the care of drug users. This study may lead to the development of devices aimed at a real transformation in health practices and the consolidation of a health care network that considers individuals in their social context.
The objective of this study was to understand the lived experiences of family members of children attending a Child Psychosocial Care Center. This study is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach, developed at a Child Psychosocial Care Center (CAPSi as per its acronym in Portuguese) located in the municipality of Cascavel, State of Paraná. Participants were eleven family members of clients attending the above mentioned service and who, more actively, took part in the clients' care. Semi-structured interviews were performed and the gathered data were then analyzed by means of social phenomenology methodology The experience lived by the family members of children attending the Child Psychosocial Care Center included experiences in dealing with clients' behavior; seeking referrals to other services; waiting for treatment; hoping to see an improvement in the clinical profile of the patient and experiencing the service support provided to the family. Thus, this present study may contribute to a reflection on mental health nursing practice in caring for clients and their families.
We aimed to understand the expectations of families about a Psychiatric Inpatient Unit in the perspective of Alfred Schutz's phenomenological sociology. This is a qualitative and phenomenological research, with families of patients at a psychiatric inpatient unit of a university hospital in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Data were collected through phenomenological interviews, and the analysis was constructed in the light of phenomenological sociology. The results show that the expectations of the family in the Psychiatric Inpatient Unit are related to the interpretation and experiences they have in the world of everyday life; that these expectations should be valued in patient and family care; and that they may integrate the family in care for the patient. We hope to contribute so that professionals and managers reflect about the importance of understanding the expectations of families on a Unit, aiming to implement more effective health actions, based on the social relations among the subjects.
Objectives: to analyze the Singular Therapeutic Projects' characteristics in mental health care used to assist the subject with psychological distress. Methods: it is an Integrative Literature Review study conducted in July 2017. The following databases used to collect the data were LILACS, MEDLINE and BDENF. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 12 articles were selected. Results: there was divergence between what was recommended by the Ministry of Health for PTS elaboration with that described in the studies analyzed. Emphasis is placed on the low participation and co-responsibility between team/user in PTS elaboration, excessive referrals to specialized mental health services, fragmentation of knowledge within the multidisciplinary team, and difficulty sharing and discussing information about cases. Final considerations: it is pointed out the need to adapt PTS elaboration, and its respective steps, to the needs of each individual.
