MDD seems to be associated with global HcV atrophy. Larger longitudinal follow-up studies designed to analyze the influence of sociodemographic variables on this relationship are required to yield better evidence about this topic.
Distributed Clouds, or just D-Clouds, can be seen as a paradigm that is able to exploit the potential of sharing resources across geographic boundaries and provide latency-bound allocation of resources to third-party developers. The representation of D-Cloud resources is a challenge that involves the careful choice of characteristics that drive the mapping of requests on the substrate resources. Regarding these problems, this paper introduces the Cloud Modeling Language (CloudML), a vendor-neutral XML-based language intended to integrate the description of different cloud related aspects such as computational and network resources, services profiles, and developers' requests in an integrated way. Furthermore, the CloudML provides a way to describe geographical locationaware services, seen particularly indispensable in D-Cloud scenarios.
Software-Defined Networking proposes a new paradigm by separating the control plane from the data plane. The control plane's main responsibility is deployed in a centralized component called SDN controller. Therefore, the SDN based network becomes dependent on a single functional entity (although it may have multiple instances) in order to accomplish its routing and policy rules. The SDN controller is vulnerable to degradation due to a well-known phenomenon called Software Aging. To the best of our knowledge, this work is the first that assesses the impacts of software aging on current implementation of SDN controllers. We show that such a phenomenon must not be neglected in future software architecture designs and implementations.
Worst-Case ExecutionTime (WCET) analysis derives upper bounds for the execution times of programs. Such bounds are crucial when designing and verifying real-time systems. Static WCET analysis derives safe upper bounds. For complex hardware architectures the hardware modelling is still a challenge, leading to long analysis times and a risk of large WCET overestimation. Therefore, hybrid WCET analysis methods have appeared, where measurements are used to augment or replace the detailed low-level static WCET analysis. These methods do not in general yield a safe WCET estimate, but can still be appropriate in soft real-time systems where such WCET estimates are not crucial.In this paper we make two contributions. First, we develop a hybrid WCET analysis method, which uses regression to identify parameters in the common linear Implicit Path Enumeration Technique (IPET) model for WCET calculation. The method can use timing measurements of different granularity, including end-to-end measurements, which reduces the need for fine-grained timing measurement instrumentation. It uses a novel kind of regression, which guarantees that the identified model does not underestimate any observed execution times. Second, we initiate the development of an IPET-based theory for hybrid WCET analysis test coverage, and we formulate and prove a coverage criterion for the tests needed to identify a safe model.

Hodgkin's lymphoma (HL) is a tumor comprising non-malignant and malignant B-cells. Classical HL expresses CD15+ and CD30+ antigens, and 20 to 40% of patients are CD20+. This antigen is a ligand free protein present in B lymphocyte cells and its function is not well known. Some studies suggest that expression of CD20 may play a major role in Hodgkin's disease pathophysiology and may affect the patients' treatment prognosis, as well as relapse and refractory response. In the past few years, development of monoclonal anti-CD20 antibodies changed drastically the treatment for non-Hodgkin lymphomas in which CD20 is expressed. HL treatment is essentially composed of radiotherapy and chemotherapy; however, monoclonal anti-CD20 antibodies applicability is not well delimitated due to lack of information about clinical outcomes with anti-CD20 monotherapy or combined drug therapy using a classic regimen, as well as about CD20 pathophysiology mechanisms in B-cells tumors. The objective of our review is to discuss CD20 function in Hodgkin's lymphoma development, its influence on disease evolution and outcomes, as well as its effects on therapeutics and patients' prognostic.
Dementia is a general term for a heterogeneous group of organic neurodegenerative diseases. Cerebrovascular causes account for 20% of cases.Objective: To describe the clinical and epidemiological features of individuals aged >60 years diagnosed with vascular dementia (VD) or mixed dementia (MxD) in a referral hospital for dementia.Methods: A descriptive, retrospective study was carried out from 2014 to 2017 involving elderly individuals (≥60 years) with VA or MxD. Patients presenting other forms of dementia or in use of medication that mimics cognitive disorders were excluded. The 12-item Neuropsychiatric Inventory was used to assess neuropsychiatric symptoms (NPS).Results: 81.1% of the patients presented NPS and only 15% had two or more symptoms. Apathy was the most frequent NPS (56.6%). There was an association between CDR score 1 or 2 and NPS (OR = 6.16, 95% CI: 1.36-27.9, p = 0.02).Conclusion: Most patients had a single symptom, predominantly apathy. There was an association between mild-to-moderate dementia and NPS.
