Perkembangan pariwisata halal, berkaitan erat dengan jumlah populasi umat Islam (muslim) dunia yang mengalami kenaikan signifikan dan berdampak pada kebutuhan wisata halal. Desa Wisata Lebak Muncang, Ciwidey merupakan salah satu desa wisata yang berada di wilayah Kabupaten Bandung yang memiliki potensi pariwisata yang cukup banyak dengan mayoritas penduduk beragama Islam (muslim), dimana dalam aktivitas sehari-hari masyarakatnya dipengaruhi oleh aturan agama Islam (Syariah). Hal ini jika dikaitkan dengan pariwisata, desa wisata Lebak Muncang berpeluang untuk dikembangkan menjadi pariwisata halal. Namun, hingga saat ini, belum dilakukan pengurus desa wisata Lebak Muncang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi pariwisata yang ada di desa wisata Lebak Muncang untuk dikembangkan menjadi pariwisata halal. Adapun kendala yang ditemukan di lapangan berkaitan dengan identifikasi potensi pariwisata halal, terkait belum tersedianya kriteria pariwisata halal yang baku dan keterbatasan pemahaman masyarakat setempat terkait pariwisata halal. Penelitian ini dianalisis dengan metode pendekatan kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui in-depth interview, observasi langsung dan literature review, kemudian dianalisis dengan menyamakan kondisi eksisting dengan kriteria pariwisata halal yang dimiliki GMTI dan buku paduan pariwisata halal dengan hasil analisis diperoleh potensi pariwisata di desa Wisata Lebak Muncang masuk dalam kriteria dan berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi pariwisata halal. Gunung Tangkuban Perahu merupakan destinasi wisata gunung yang direkomendasikan pada urutan pertama oleh Dinas perhutanan Jawa Barat. Lokasinya sangat strategis dan memiliki berbagai macam atraksi wisata sehingga banyak wisatawan yang tertarik untuk berwisata. Jumlah kunjungan wisatawan sangat tinggi yang terdiri dari wisatawan lokal dan mancanegara. Namun demikian, jumlah kunjungan mengalami fluktuasi dari tahun 2012 hingga 2015. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut dilakukan kajian dengan judul “Analisis atraksi wisata di wisata kawasan Tangkuban Perahu” yang bertujuan untuk mengkaji profil atraksi wisata dan mengkaji analisis lingkungan atraksi wisata di Taman Wisata Alam Gunung Tangkuban Perahu.Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan berdasarkan observasi, penyebaran kuesioner dan analisis dokumen. Proses analisis data selama di lapangan, menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman (1984), dimana aktivitas dalam analisis data mencakup data reduction, data display, dan conclusion drawing/verification. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dihasilkan analisis lingkungan internal dan eksternal. Analisis lingkungan internal menemukan kekuatan TWA Tangkuban Perahu seperti pada aspek pengelola, potensi wisata, daya tarik wisata alam dan budaya lokal, kawasan kerajinan dan tour guide; dan adanya kelemahan pada aspek tanda atau sign, peraturan jadwal tour guide, kurangnya kenyamanan, akses jalan, tempat istirahat, fasilitas toilet. Adapun hasil analisis lingkungan eksternal ditemukan adanya peluang dalam aspek atraksi, potensi investasi, minat wisatawan, perkembangan pasar wisata keluarga; sekaligus ditemukan ancaman yaitu kerawanan kawasan, tingkat pendidikan dan perekonomian masyarakat sekitar, lahan parkir, dan terbatasnya daya dukung lingkungan.
This article describes the process and results of Community Service (PKM) activities carried out by the Bandung State Polytechnic in partnership with the Mekarsari Gambung Tourism Village, Bandung Regency manager. The PKM activity was carried out to solve governance problems and human resource problems faced by the Mekarsari Gambung Tourism Village. The Governance Plan document is prepared to serve as a guide for local tourism managers to increase the potential of tourist attractions and the competence of human resources in tourist villages. Furthermore, technical guidance (Bimtek) for the development of tourist attraction businesses is carried out to increase the capacity of the expertise and knowledge of the Mekarsari Gambung Tourism Village managers and the surrounding community so that they can be applied in efforts to develop the potential of tourism villages.
The performance of tour guides has come to the attention of many researchers, as part of the disclosure of the phenomenon of prestigious professions in the tourism industry. As an important part of the tourism cycle, the profession of a tour guide has a major influence on tourist behavior and the development of tourist destinations. Using the Systematic Literature Review approach, this article reviews previous research that has been published in reputable journals with various backgrounds of locations and phenomena. This literature review study has provided an overview of the factors supporting the performance of tour guides, namely in the aspects of soft-skills and hard-skills, in the form of communication, managerial skills and leadership. It also explained the impact of the performance of tour guides that have been found to be related to tourist satisfaction, tourist experience, behavior in the destination and the desire to revisit.
The development of world tourism, especially in the tour and travel business is influenced by Information Communication Technology (ICT). The effective use of ICT added values to products and services that continue to develop business electronically (e-business). By doing e-business, companies tend to have effective and efficient operations. The ebusiness adoption in small medium size travel agents encounter rapid changes in technology and the raise of online travel agent. The aim of the research is to understand the readiness of small medium size travel agents in doing e-business. Three variables developed were technology readiness, organization readiness, and external environment. All the respondents were small medium size travel agents operating in West Java, Indonesia. Interviews were conducted during June-August 2018 with 61 persons from travel agents, consisting of managers, supervisor, owners, commissioners, and staffs. Content analysis was used to analyze data. Results showed that all small medium size travel agents are keen to run e-business. The technology infrastructure and organizational readiness support the travel agents to apply ebusiness. The external markets which were already online become potential market in supporting e-business. Differences between cities and suburb areas in terms of e-business adoption revealed that in suburb areas travel agents had less infrastructure, lacked staff competencies, and relied innovation on the free application available. However, suburb area travel agents faced high opportunities to take more costumers in purchasing airline and hotel tickes due to the low ability of the customers to use available distribution system.
