El presente artículo analiza las Elecciones Generales 2016 con el objetivo de inferir la manera en que se vienen expresando los ideales democráticos en el caso peruano. Así, desde un enfoque teórico que asume el proceso electoral como la concreción máxima de la democracia, se analiza si la dinámica y los resultados de la elección del año 2016 reflejan claramente los ideales del pluralismo, la igualdad, y soberanía. Los resultados de este ejercicio revelan que dichos principios se expresan de manera distorsionada en el caso peruano y que el origen de tal situación estaría tanto en el diseño institucional como en algunos rasgos de la estructura social peruana.

Carkhuff que hicieron posible en su momento el asentamiento de un nuevo enfoque en psicoterapia, frente a los tradicionales del psicoanálisis y de la modificación de conducta.
