m‐Dinitro‐benzol und seine Derivate lassen sich mit Natriumborhydrid zu Salzen von Dinitrocyclohexenen umsetzen, aus denen mit Formaldehyd und einem primären oder sekundären Amin die entsprechenden Mannich‐Verbindungen gebildet werden. Einige der so erhaltenen Piperidinomethyl‐Derivate werden durch Zinn(II)‐chlorid unter Abspaltung einer Nitrogruppe rearomatisiert.
1‐Chlor‐2.4‐dinitro‐benzol läßt sich mit Natriumborydrid zu 1‐Chlor‐2.4 ‐dinitro‐cyclohexen‐(6) reduzieren. Analog reagieren andere 1‐subst. 2.4‐Dinitro‐benzolderivate. Aus Pikrinsäure wurde 1.3.5‐Trinitro‐pentan erhalten.
m-Dinitro-benzol und einige seiner Derivate (I, 11, V11) lassen sich durch aufeinanderfolgende Einwirkung von Alkylmagnesiumhalogeniden, Methylamin/ Formaldehyd und Essigsaure zu Mannich-Verbindungen von Dinitrodialkylcyclohexenen (V b-e, VIII) umsetzen.Das gegenuber nucleophilen Agentien besonders reaktionsfahige 1.3.5-Trinitro-benzol laDt sich mit Alkylmagnesiumhalogeniden zu 2.4.6-Trinitro-1.3.5-trialkyl-cyclohexanen umsetzen 1). Bei Mononitroaromaten hingegen wird nur die Nitrogruppe unter Bildung von Azoverbindungen und N-Alkyl-anilin-Derivaten2) angegriffen. Ahnliche Umsetzungen gelingen mit komplexen Hydriden. Wahrend Mononitroaromaten mit Natriumborhydrid zu Azoxyverbindungen umgesetzt wurden31, erhielten wir aus Trinitrobenzol 1.3.5-Trinitro-cyclohexan4). Auch
