Dans le présent article, nous interrogeons le concept d'institutionnalisation dans la démarche d'apprentissage de notions grammaticales en adoptant une approche inter-didactique. Nous cherchons à identiier les spéciicités de l'institutionnalisation en grammaire par l'observation et la comparaison de pratiques de classes dans trois disciplines scolaires (français, maths et sciences). Ce repérage repose sur l'analyse des formes qu'elle peut revêtir, à la fois dans les interactions enseignant / élève et dans la trace qui formalise le savoir grammatical construit.
Cet article porte sur le geste d’institutionnalisation par lequel l’enseignant pointe et souligne des significations qui émergent dans les interactions langagières de la classe nécessaires pour l’élaboration de savoirs scolaires. Nous considérons ce geste comme un geste professionnel garant de l’efficacité de l’accompagnement didactique. Notre objectif est de proposer une description de ce geste par la définition d’indicateurs langagiers à partir de l’analyse d’un corpus de vidéos enregistrées dans des classes de cycle trois de l’école primaire dans différentes disciplines scolaires. Après avoir inscrit cette étude dans la problématique des gestes professionnels et de la formation des enseignants, nous montrons, à partir de l’évolution que le concept d’institutionnalisation a connue dans les travaux d’origine de didactique des mathématiques, comment ce concept peut être analysé comme un geste langagier complexe spécifié et par la discipline scolaire et par le domaine disciplinaire relatif ici pour nous à la didactique du français langue première.
