This paper regards research for evaluation of the effect of the surface and subsurface drip irrigation method in the production of biodiesel from sunflower crop and in the saving of irrigation water, and in economic performance which directly concerns the Greek producers. The research was conducted in the Central Greece, in a field in the Farm of the University of Thessaly. The following treatments were organized: a) the surface (AUTO (E)) and b) the subsurface (AUTO(Y)) drip irrigation method, in which the irrigation was scheduled by an automatic evaporation pan. The research concerns the growing seasons of the years 2011 and 2012.
