Tax revenue is influenced by many factors. Existing studies reveal that political stability, level of corruption, quality of the policy, income per capita, share of agriculture to the GDP, and market openness are some of the factors influencing tax revenue. This study aims to analyze the influence of governance by using some indicators, such as political stability, government effectiveness, quality of regulation, law enforcement accountability and control on corruption in tax area through empirical analysis of ASEAN countries. Descriptive analysis and causality methods are employed in this study. causality method is used to determine the relationship between observed variables using panel regression. The results of the study indicate that the controlon corruption, voice and accountability and political stability variables have significant negative effects on the tax ratio, while rule of law and quality of regulatory variables have positive impact on the tax ratio.

One of the challenges facing banks in the ASEAN region is the plan to establish the ASEAN Banking Integration Framework (ABIF). The main objective of ABIF is to prepare market access and operational flexibility in ASEAN countries to create Qualified ASEAN Banks (QAB), ie ASEAN banks that meet certain requirements agreed by ASEAN. This paper analyzes the level of bank efficiency in ASEAN member countries, taking samples of banks in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, and Vietnam, using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method, analysis of financial ratios and comparison of research results with different approaches. The results of the analysis show that although the approach of financial ratios and DEA of Indonesian banks appear efficient, but when analyzed from NIM, the Indonesian banking system is inefficient.Contribution/ Originality: This paper contributes to the policy-making authority of banks in Indonesia.Banking in the ASEAN region will face the ASEAN Banking Integration Framework (ABIF). This paper reviews the efficiency of Indonesian banking as a form of readiness to face ABIF.

This paper aims to analyze the impact of infrastructure spending on economic growth in Indonesia, which includes investment in road, port and irrigation infrastructure. The period of observation was 2011-2018, which covered 29 provinces with consideration of data availability. This study employed the growth model with a panel data analysis, which analyze the relationship between the economic growth and government investment in infrastructure in the long run. The most essential finding in this study is that the economic growth is positively influenced by government investment in road, port and irrigation infrastructure. Road infrastructure investment has a significant positive impact and the effect occurs in the fourth year after infrastructure development. In comparison, port and irrigation infrastructure investment have a positive but not significant impact to other variables.

The issue of WTO reforms launched by the European Union and Canada in July 2018 is an, the issue of Most Favored Nation, the problem of overseeing the opportunity for developing countries to fight for their interests. This reform is expected to have a positive impact on the trade of developing countries. In addition, it is also expected to bring positive changes to the multilateral trading system and is expected to be able to accommodate the interests of developed and developing countris. This paper aims to analyze issues related to WTO reform, the effectiveness of WTO policies towards developing countries and formulate the position of developing countries in WTO reform. Several issues faced by developing countries that need to be fought for in WTO reform include: problems with market access and legal flexibility implementation, administration and operation of closed agreements, implementation of S and D provisions, public stockholding issues, problems special safeguard mechanism, problems with Appallate Body -WTO membership, and problem of digital commerce.

Infrastructure investment is one of the new sources of growth beside trade. However, the availability of infrastructure has become one of the major problems in the process of economic development in the region. Given the need for huge capital infrastructure in the region and the presence of the financing gap in infrastructure financing, the People Republic of Chinese (PRC) initiated the establishment of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). Thus, AIIB is expected to accelerate economic development and integration of Asia through the promotion of investment in the infrastructure sector. AIIB have several priority areas include transport, energy, communication, industry, and agriculture. The study used qualitative methods to compare the performance of various Multi Development Banks (MDBs) that existed such as IMF, ADB, IDB and WB with AIIB work plan. The results of this study will be expected to produce policy recommendations related to the formation of AIIB. AIIB initiative is the establishment of a relevant step with the spirit of accelerating economic development and integration of Asia to promote investment in the infrastructure sector. AIIB priority areas including transportation, energy, communication, industry, and agriculture is also a priority in developing countries. Openness in terms of membership (open regionalism) also showed that AIIB not only managed exclusively by the emerging countries in Asia but also opened to countries outside the region. The prospects of AIIB will be determined by how far the founding of PRC government transparency in every process both on stage and in the establishment of operational AIIB, how funding of AIIB direction forward and ensure it will not happen tied financing. This condition will be considered countries in the Asian region to join as founding members of AIIB.
