Salah satu hal yang membedakan antara asuransi syariah dengan asuransi konvensional yakni adanya dana tabarru’ pada asuransi syariah. Dana tabarru’ merupakan dana tolong menolong atau hibah. Artikel ini mendiskusikan mengenai pengelolaan dana tabarru’ dan kesesuaian dalam mengelola dana tabarru’ Fatwa Dewan Syariah Nasional Majelis Ulama Indonesia Nomor. 53/ DSN-MUI/ III/ 2006 tentang akad tabarru’. Oleh sebab itu, hasil penelitian dalam artikel ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif-deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan objek penelitian berada di PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Kabupaten Purbalingga dan PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Purwokerto. Hasil penelitian dalam artikel ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap produk asuransi yang terdapat di PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Kabupaten Purbalingga dan PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Purwokerto telah menerapkan akad tabarru’. Pengelolaan dana secara keseluruhan terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu dana peserta, dana perusahaan, dan dan tabarru’. Dana tabarru’ menjadi dana tolong menolong antar peserta asuransi syariah yang terkena musibah yang pembayaran klaim dialokasikan langsung dari pos dana tabarru’ yang dipisahkan dari dana lainnya. Dana tabarru’ dapat diambil dengan cara pengajuan klaim, tanpa pegajuan klaim, maka dana tabarru’ tidak dapat diambil. Sementara dalam aspek pengelolaan dana tabarru’ yang terkumpul oleh pihak perusahaan asuransi syariah diinvestasikan ke dalam instrumen investasi yang berbasis syariah dan hasil investasinya diberikan kembali ke rekening tabarru’ milik peserta. Serta secara umum pengelolaan dana tabarru’ pada PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Kabupaten Purbalingga dan PT. Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Purwokerto telah sesuai dengan prinsip syariah.
Artikel ini mempelajari kebijakan/regulasi negara dan dampaknya masyarakat dan institusi pengelolaan wakaf di Indonesia. Artikel hasil penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan dokumentasi. Kebijakan atau regulasi negara dalam pengelolaan wakaf di Indonesia telah dimulai sejak pemerintahan kolonial Belanda. Wakaf menjadi institusi keuangan Islam yang ditandai dengan berdirinya Rad Agama atau Pengadilan Agama (priesterrad) berdasarkan staatsblad Nomor 152 Tahun 1882. Pengakuan Belanda tersebut berdasarkan penyelesaian hukum Islam yang diajukan masyarakat ke Mahkamah Syar’iyyah (Peradilan Agama Lokal), namun dalam penerapannya antara satu daerah dengan daerah lainnya berbeda-beda. Pasca kemerdekaan terdapat beberapa peraturan pemerinah mengenai wakaf, salah satunya Peraturan pemerintah Nomor 28 Tahun 1977 tentang Perwakafan Tanah Milik yang hanya mengatur mengenai perwakafan tanah saja dan penggunaannya hanya terbatas untuk kegiatan sosial-keagamaan. Namun, pasca berlakunya UU No. 41 Tahun 2004 tentang Wakaf menyebabkan pengelolaan wakaf menjadi lebih variatif dan kreatif termasuk adanya wakaf uang. Dampak kebijakan negara terhadap masyarakat/institusi pengelola wakaf dalam pengelolaan wakaf di Indonesia menyebabkan pengelolaan wakaf harus dilakukan secara kelembagaan dan bersifat produktif. Wakaf uang dapat dikelelola untuk investasi yang memberikan banyak manfaat kesejahteraan dan kemaslahatan terhadap masyarakat, sehingga menjadi salah salah satu indikator pengelolaan wakaf secara produktif. Selain itu, penguatan pengelolaan wakaf yang dilakukan oleh organisasi sosial-keagamaan, Badan Wakaf Indonesia (BWI), dan Lembaga Keuangan Syariah Penerima Wakaf Uang (LKS-PWU) dilakukan dengan memberikan pemahaman orientasi keuntungan, regulasi, supervisi, dan orientasi publik
This article examines the problems of Islamic banking in Muslim minority areas, especially Thailand. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative research object with the Islamic Bank Prachuap Khiri Khan Thailand, while the data collection techniques are interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out through synchronization between research data and theories that will support the conclusions of this study. The results of this study indicate that the Prachuap Khiri Khan branch of the Islamic bank faces several problems in carrying out its banking operations. These problems include, among others, factors in the banking world in Thailand, internal factors related to the banking system and also the employees who work at the Islamic Bank, as well as factors from the customers themselves, which in fact, the Thai Muslim community lacks enthusiasm for Islamic banks. The evaluation that has been carried out by Islamic Banks on the problems faced is to provide short courses to Islamic Bank employees, especially to employees at the front office because in that section they meet and socialize more directly with customers. Then, provide more intensive socialization through various social media, outreach to Islamic foundations or schools in Thailand to attract interest and cooperation between the two parties, and Islamic Banks from the center to branches conduct annual evaluations to improve the banking system. and improving the quality of banking services to customers of the Prachuap Khiri Khan Islamic Bank Branch.
The development of Islamic financial institutions in Indonesia over the last three decades has shown encouraging developments, this is indicated by the increasing number of sharia-based financial institutions. The purpose of the community service activities that have been carried out is to provide comprehensive understanding and insight about the importance of Islamic financial literacy, provide motivational encouragement, and an understanding of the importance of managing school finances that can be managed using sharia principles.The method used in this activity is the holding of Islamic financial literacy socialization which is directed at school financial management by providing material on contract theory, sharia business contracts, and Islamic financial institutions. Meanwhile, the participants in this activity were delegated teachers from Muhammadiyah schools in Banyumas Regency. The results of this activity show that school financial management is carried out differently according to school policies. The form of the policy is adjusted to the cooperation of schools with financial institutions, both BTM, BMT and commercial banks (Islamic banks and conventional banks). The delivery of material in this activity uses a participatory-dialogical method, where participants can convey their ideas and views, while the presenters only become facilitators by providing a review of participant responses. The form of practice in which the participants were directed by the implementing team was to get to know the various sharia contracts, while the participants' responses to the implementation process were mostly very good and good, and hoped that they would be implemented continuously.
