Environmental characteristics in coastal areas are receiving less attention, especially for science education development. However, it provides relevant learning objectives, such as the presence of seagrass and marine aquaculture. This study aimed to assess the contribution of student worksheets (synthesis of seagrass ecology and marine aquaculture values) in increasing students' scientific literacy. The method used is quasi experiment with pre-post-test design, followed up by the learning observation to strengthen the quantitative data. Data were analysed on using simple statistical analysis. The results showed that all students knew seagrass and marine aquaculture. Furthermore, the post-test results show that the average value of the control students is lower than the average grade of the experimental class. Meanwhile, student from the experimental classroom shows more innovative in completing project-based learning tasks. It is relevant to students who understand seagrass and marine culture, where they interact after returning from school. This research concludes that the of student worksheets material based on local indigenous value played role in enhancing students' scientific literacy. Besides, the short essay on science and its values can replace the role of science teaching material that still rarely provided by teachers/schools.

This study aims to develop environmental-based student worksheet using seagrass context to improve students' scientific literacy. The method employed in this research is a quasi-experimental. Data was collected using instrument test and observation sheet. Data was analysed using descriptive statistical analysis technique. The results showed that the worksheet contained seagrass ecology approach were theoretically valid according to the judgement expert with the average value A (very good). The synthesis of student worksheets contained seagrass and marine aquaculture's ecological value also found can significantly increase students' scientific literacy. This results suggest that integrating local natural resources into teaching and learning process in the form of student worksheet strengthens students' literacy and sensitivity to the coastal areas of East Lombok and global environmental issues.
Kurikulum dan pembelajaran memiliki posisi penting dalam sistem pendidikan nasional. Kuriklum sebagai program pendidikan (ideal curriulum) menekankan pada proses pembelajaran operasional. Sebagai alat yang penting dalam rangka mencapai tujuan pendidikan, kurikulum dan pembelajaran hendaknya adaptif terhadap perubahan zaman dan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Dalam implementasi kurikulum dan pembelajaran diperlukan manajemen efektif dan efisien, sehingga menjaga kedaulatan sistem pendidikan nasional dalam rangka menjaga nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional seperti yang telah dicita-citakan para pendiri bangsa. Penelitian ini berdasarkan pemikiran bahwa manajemen kurikulum dan pembelajaran menjadi komponen penting dalam sistem pendidikan nasional yang saling terkait secara terpadu untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam mengumpulkan data adalah studi pustaka yaitu menelaah buku, literatur dan catatan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan kategorisasi dan penafsiran data. Manajemen kurikulum dan pembelajaran dalam sistem pendidikan nasional merupakan suatu proses yang sangat komplek dan melibatkan berbagai komponen yang saling terkait dalam rangka mengarahkan segala bentuk aktivitas pendidikan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan nasional. Prosedur manajemen kurikulum terdiri dari perencaaan kurikulum dan pembelajaran, pengorganisasian manajemen kurikulum dan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan manajemen kurikulum dan pembelajaran, serta evaluasi manajemen kurikulum dan pembelajaran. Kata Kunci: manajemen kurikulum dan pembelajaran, sistem pendidikan nasional Abstract Curriculum and learning process have an important role in the national education system. Curriculum seen an educational program (ideal curriculum), emphasizes the operational learning process. As it is considered to be an important instrument to achieve educational objectives, curriculum and learning should be adaptive towards the constantly changing times and advances in science and technology. Effective and efficient management is needed in implementing the curriculum and learning themselves to maintain the national education system’s autonomous nature and the national values, as well as achieving the national education objectives as sought by the founding fathers of the nation. This research is based on the idea that curriculum and learning management are important components to look at in the national education system that are interrelated in an integrated manner to achieve national education objectives. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Literature study such as reviewing books, literature and notes was used to collect the data. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out by categorizing and interpreting the collected data. Curriculum and learning management in the national education system is considered to be a very complex process which involves various interrelated components to direct all forms of educational activity to achieve national education objectives. The curriculum management procedures consist of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the aspect of curriculum and learning themselves.
Desa Tanak Beak Kecamatan Batukliang Utara merupakan salah satu sentra penghasil buah naga di Lombok Tengah. Desa ini memiliki Kebun Buah Naga yang dikelola oleh Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT) Mekar Indah. Dengan adanya pandemi Covid-19 ini mengakibatkan turun drastisnya pengunjung kebun mengakibatkan adanya over produksi, dan harga di pasaran menjadi menurun. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah membantu masyarakat dalam menangani permasalahan pasca panen buah naga dan memberikan keterampilan terkait teknologi pengembangan variasi produk olahan dari buah naga dengan mengikutsertakan komponen kulit sebagai bahan dasar olahan. Salah satu produk makanan olahan dengan mengkombinasikan daging buah dan kulit buah naga adalah selai lembar buah naga merah yang lebih praktis jika dibandingkan dengan selai dalam kemasan botol. Edukasi dan pelatihan pembuatan produk olahan dan teknik pengemasan sehingga dapat juga bernilai ekonomi skala rumah tangga. Metode pelaksanaan berupa metode partisipatif dengan kegiatan penyuluhan dan praktek pembuatan produk selai lembaran. Dalam pelaksaaan kegiatan pengabdian ini, dihadiri oleh sekitar 20 anggota KWT. Selama kegiatan berlangsung, para partisipan mengikuti dengan seksama materi yang dijelaskan oleh tim, baik materi teori penanganan pasca panen buah naga dan praktek langsung pembuatan produk olahan kombinasi daging kulit buah naga (dengan proporsi 70%:30%). Diakhir kegiatan peserta juga mencicipi produk hasil praktek dengan roti tawar. Hasil evaluasi dari kegiatan secara keseluruhan menunjukkan bahwa semua anggota KWT Mekar Indah akan melanjutkan keterampilan yang diperolehnya agar dapat menjadi usaha kecil yang dapat membantu perekonomian keluarga. Mereka juga termotivasi karena semua alat-alat perlengkapan untuk produksi selai lembaran diberikan oleh tim pengabdian.
A present study aimed at evaluating sardine sauce quality used a treatment combination of pineapple fruit extract, and fermentation times. It used a completely randomized design with a factorial pattern. The results showed a pineapple fruit extracts and fermentation times affected significantly on sardine sauce quality (P \ 0.05). There was an interaction between pineapple fruit extract and fermentation times on sardine sauce quality. A pineapple fruit extract of 10% and fermentation times of 13 days produced sardine sauce best quality, with a protein content (17.38%), moisture (74.45%), omega-3 (19.68%), pH (5.23), taste value of 3.68, color of 4.52, and aroma of 2.99, respectively, but, consumers did not like it so much. It has passed a National Standard of Indonesia, which sets the minimum level of protein of 5%, and pH ranges from 5.0 to 6.0.
