The recent trend towards the frequent prescription of antibiotics has indicated the need for additional therapy to offset the harm done to the body in general and to the musculo skeletal system in particular. This review examines the specifics and effects of the new class of drugs called osteobiotics. The efficacy of the first Russian drug of this category and the possibility of its use in antibiotic therapy are evaluated.

The main one of these tasks is to improve the quality of life of people who have crossed a certain age limit, and especially women who have entered the menopause period. The purpose of this review is to present the most promising developments of Russian medical science and pharmaceutical industry in ensuring the functional longevity of citizens.
Bones and joints are interconnected structural units of the skeleton. Their pathologies often accompany each other. However, there is still no single comprehensive approach to the treatment of bone and joint diseases: for the treatment of osteopathologies, their own treatment algorithms are used, for arthropathologies — their own. Recent studies have revealed a common pathogenetic mechanism underlying both groups of diseases. We have made a successful attempt to eliminate it.

Strukov on the role of bone cavity formations in the occurrence and progression of osteoarthritis is presented. The interactions studied by osteoimmunology between the bone-articular, immune and endocrine systems are disclosed. The substantiation of a new approach to the treatment of combined pathology of osteoartosis and osteoporosis by immunotherapy.
