Population growth and the development of economic in Indonesia affect the increase in vehicle volume, especially in the city of Surabaya. The increasing of vehicle volume resulting in increased of direct-access to the city centre and causing arise of new railway level crossings. Furthermore, the increasing of vehicles volume, causing congestion at some points in Surabaya including Jemursari. One of the congestion factors at the railway level crossings is the duration of closing time as the train passes through the crossing. The uncertain duration of gate closing time caused road users to be undisciplined by break through the crossing gates while the train pass through the crossings. Considering of those problems, there are two models has been build, which are: first model is relationship between the length of the train, train velocity, and the closing time of the railway level crossing, and the second model is relationship between the closing time of the railway level crossing and the length of the vehicle queue. Data have been collected and analyse by making model relationship with simple linear regression method. The result shown that there is positive relationship of the train length with the length of gate closing time. However, the train speed has negative relationship. Moreover, length of train has positive relation with the length of queue.
Banyaknyanya lokasi genangan air di Kota Dumai membuat para pengambilkeputusan ragu-ragu dalam mengambil keputusan. Prioritas penanganan genanganyang paling tepat memerlukan data akurat berbasis komputer sebagai dasar setiapkeputusan yang akan dilaksanakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara survei danmetode literatur yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi parameter-parameter yangberpengaruh terhadap nilai prioritas penanganan dengan metode AnalyticalHierarchy Process (AHP) yang berdasarkan kriteria Teknis, Ekonomi, Lingkungan,dan Sosial/Budaya.Dari hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat diketahuibahwa kriteria yang memiliki prioritas (tingkat) paling mempengaruhi terhadappenentuan prioritas wilayah penanganan genangan air adalah kriteria teknis(42,7%) dan kriteria lingkungan (29,2%). Sub kriteria parameter yang palingberpengaruh dalam penentuan prioritas wilayah penanganan genangan air adalahperubahan tata guna lahan dengan persentase sebesar 64,9%. Berdasarkan hasilanalisa Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), diperoleh wilayah terbaik untukrencana penanganan genangan air di Kota Dumai adalah Jalan Sultan Syarif Qasimdengan persentase sebesar 38,3%. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk penanganangenangan drainase di Jl. Sultan Syarif Qasim adalah dengan memperbaiki sistemdrainase eksisting. Rencana mitigasi genangan air di wilayah yang menjadi prioritasadalah dengan pelebaran drainase menjadi ukuran 2,5 x 1,6 m untuk mengatasigenangan air yang terjadi.
