One's social network was the most powerful predictor of HIV risk behavior. HIV/STD prevention interventions directed toward entire social networks are especially promising.
The experiments included 50 does and 36 weaned rabbits of the White New Zealand breed. The animals were divided into two groups -experimental and control. The exeprimental group was supplemented with probiotic "ZOOVIT". The addition of "ZOOVIT" probiotic increases the fertility rate , which is 85,71 % in the experimental and 66,66% in the control group. The number of the live born rabbits is also higher in the experimental animals. In the experimental group is recorded a 10.8% lower mortality rate before weaning and a 10.9% higher average daily growth rate than in the control one. In rabbits for fattening, the experimental group has a 11.11% lower mortality rate. The additive used reliably increases live weight in the test group. Further studies are needed to establish the optimal doses of "ZOOVIT" in rabbit does, growing rabbits and rabbits for fattening.
The study was carried out to establish dependence between some exterior measurements, productivity and body condition score (BCS) of ewe lambs from the Thracian merino breed, reared in the Agricultural Institute in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. Ewe lambs included in the research were born during 2011-2015. The growth rate, as well as the main breeding traits as live weight, staple length, wool yield and pure fiber were studied, and body condition score was estimated at the age of 6, 9 and 18 months. Conclusions: 1) The lambs of the Thracian merino breed had high growth rates at an early age. 2) The increase in body weight and bone mass is more intensive from 6 to 9 months of age, followed by the increase of the body condition score. 3) Productive traits as wool production, staple length, wool yield and pure fiber showed high level in ewe lambs at the age of 18 months, when they have their first breeding season.
The study was conducted in the experimental field of the Agricultural Institute in Stara Zagora under irrigation conditions on meadowcinnamon soil with maize for grain, medium late hybrid LG 35.36 with sowing density -7000 plants per decare. The еxperiment includes the following four options of fertilization: opt.1non-fertilized sentinel plot, opt. 2fertilization with N10 kg/da active substance, opt.3 fertilization with N15 kg/da active substance and opt. 4fertilization with N 20 kg/da active substance. With an increase in the fertilization rate, the content of crude protein in the maize grain also increases too, with the largest increase of 20.3% compared to the unfertilized sentinel plot being the option with the highest fertilizer rate -N20 kg/da , followed by the option with N15 kg/da active substance per decare. The content of crude fiber in the maize grain with the increasing of fertilization rate decreases by 14-30% compared to the unfertilized sentinel plot, with the least content in the option with rate -N10 kg/da active substance. The content of metabolizable energy is the highest -14.94 MJ/kg in variants 2 and 3 -N10 kg/da and N15 kg/da. The FUM for all variants was 1.64 FUM/kg DM The FUG for the N20 kg/da variant is 1.78 FUG/kg DM, and for all other nitrogen fertilization levels it is 1.79 FUG/kg DM.The highest content of protein digestible in the intestine is expected in the option with the highest level of nitrogen fertilization-20 kg active substance per decare -123 g/kg DM, and for the other optionsthe values are as follows: 116 g/kg DM; 119 g/kg DM and 121 g/kg DM for a fertilization level of 0, 10 and 15 kg of active substance of nitrogen per decare.
An experiment was conducted with maize for silage as a main irrigation culture in the experimental field of the Agricultural Institute - Stara Zagora. The following variations have been tested: variation 1 - no irrigation (sentinel); variation 2 - optimal irrigation, 80%-85% of FC (100% irrigation); variation 3 - Irrigation as variation 2 but with first irrigation cancelled; variation 4 - irrigation as variation 2 but with second irrigation cancelled; variation 5 - irrigation as variation 2, but with third irrigation cancelled. On the basis of a chemical analysis of the sudangrass forage for the raw protein content, FUM, FUG and PDI were defined. It was found that the highest yield of raw maize protein grown as the main crop was obtained from the optimal irrigation variation, both in the non-fertilized and the fertilized variation, respectively with 1023.5 kg / ha and 1303.5 kg / ha. The optimal water supply of maize provides the highest energy efficiency of the forage expressed in FUM -15022.8 kg / ha, FUG -15584.4 kg / da, PDI - 1060 kg / ha for non fertilized variations and FUM -16873.5 kg / ha, FUG -17516.3 kg / ha, PDI-1219 kg / ha with fertilizer applied.
