the processing of composite nanoparticles consisting of a photocatalytic shell of anatase titania and a magnetic core of nickel ferrite by combining reverse micelle and chemical hydrolysis techniques was described. The present study demonstrates the anti-microbial performance of undoped and doped as synthesised composite nanoparticles. The doping process involved heat treatment at ,400uC for 20 min. Heat treatment of the composite nanoparticles does not influence the magnetic characteristics of the nickel ferrite core.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
