A study about formulation Handwash liquid soap which contain etanol extract of occimum folium (Ocimum basilicum L.). Has been conducted. This study aims to product the stable formulation of handwash liquid soap which contain etanol extract of occimum folium (Ocimum basilicum L.).This study was conducted using three variations of viscosity agent. Then do some test with storage method with organoleptic parameters, pH, foaming test, viscosity and type of flow, before and after imposed conditions.Organoleptic test result showed theres no change at II and III, test showed that is stable because still at soap pH before and after imposed condition. Statistical analysis of viscosity test showed there is difference for each formula before and after storage condition. Yield value showed difference yield value before and after strorage condition and at formula there no difference. At rheogram curve theres coincides at formula III before and after imposed condition. For foaming test , three formula is stable because theres have a good foam. The conclusion is the stable handwash liquid soap is formula III.
The aim of this research was to determine the type and thickening agent variation which of result stable emulsion. There were three thickening agent, they are CMC sodium, Acacia gum and xanthan gum used in formula. Those three formula then evaluated by accelarated condition method by which the parameter were organoleptic, type of emulsion, creaming volumen, viscosity and type of flow, dispersed globule observation before and after the condition. Organoleptic result showed that there were nothing different in formula II. Type of emulsion showed that those three formula were o/m emulsion. There were nothing creaming volume in formula I and II. Statistic analyze in viscosity measurement and yield value, rheogram curve showed close each other, dispersed globule there were not undergo aggrregation in formula I and II before ad after accelarated condition. Of those parameter the conclusión was formula II is stable one.
Background :For long time ago various research has been done on both curcuma and banana fruit. Result showed that curcumin which contained in curcuma and cytoindosin, tannin, amylum on banana function as antipeptic ulcer. PUD (peptic ulcer disease) is remain the most common disease of gastrointestinal tract, so which influence life quality, disorder in works, and higher of medical treatment cost. Most of patient of which expect prompt effect of preparations. Based on this, suspension was made to give the prompt effect, due to fine particles of the suspensoid which is not degradated or aggregated in time. The Aim :to obtain dry suspension from which is pharmaceutically stable from combination of curcuma (Curcuma longa L.) aethanolic extracts and the powder of banana (Musa balbisiana Colla.) flesh using a various of suspending agent. Method : it was experimental method which was a research method in laboratory conducted by preparing some formulation designs of dry suspension fromcombination of curcuma (Curcuma longa L.) aethanolic extracts and the powder of banana (Musa balbisiana Colla.) flesh. Conclusion :the suspending agent producing the pharmaceutically stable dry suspension is magnesium aluminium silicate with 4% concentration
Caulerpa racemosa is one type of green algae has the ability to defend against radiation of ultraviolet. Lotion is a liquid or semi-liquid preparation containing one or more active ingredients with a suitable vehicle and provides a comfortable and good feel to the skin. The aim of this research was to obtain the optimum formula based on organoleptic testing, viscosity, pH, flow type, globule of dispersion, and antioxidant activity. The method of this research is experimentally which done by making some design of lotion formulation from methanolic extract of green alga Caulerpa rasemosa. Stability of losio was evaluated include organoleptic testing, pH measurement, type of emulsion, viscosity, flow type, size and distribution of dispersion globule. Determining of effectiveness of lotion as an antioxidant by IC50 value with UV-Vis spectrophotometry method. Results of this research collected and processed statistically with the Completely Randomized Design method, then made the discussion and taken the conclusion. Based on the evaluation, it was found that Losio containing 0.75% methanolic extract of Caulerpa racemosa green algae (Formula III) had the most optimum pharmaceutical stability. And the three losio formulas containing methanol extract of Caulerpa racemosa green algae have antioxidant activity.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
